Love it, very addicting.

That's almost exactly what my car makes! Mine made 467/433. After two years now, it feels slow. :eyes:

Great thread all! I've started collecting parts for the swap myself. Hopefully I can get them in time to do it over winter. Money has just been funny this year. Thanks for the great info to all that contributed.

I dont have any pics but I took a flat piece of alumin, mounted it to the bottom of the shaker alone, drilled 2 holes in the center to blow air ontop of it. And then took measurments of the 3 places I would put bolts in on the SC, and made 2 brackets, mounted to the bottom of the shaker, then ran the tabs and mounted it. Ill try to get pics when I get a chance.

Get ready for some razor like cuts. It was not fun breaking that stock plastic crap out of the bottom of the tank.

It is just that easy. You will see when you pull the pumps and hat out what needs to be removed.

What are the tools necessary for the whole process. I know fuel line tools, but not sure what size, the straps, thanks. I may wait t do it after the eaton swap, but before i get tuned. the guy im doing a swap with is trying to charge me $150 to do the fuel hat/pumps swap and removing of the basket. do i just rip it out of there after i carefully ease off the top of the basket?

Yea when it comes to working on electrical and fuel stuff, thats where i get cautious. But ill prob do it myself before i get the car tuned. I was looking for a write up, but didnt find one. Maybe ill do one with some pictures, unless someone else knows of any writeups out already

Just the fuel line disconnect tools, 8mm socket and 13mm socket wrench and long extension to make it easier.

Make sure to clean off the top of the tank so nothing gets inside when you have the hat off.
