Well you can't say the #83 Toyota ain't fast. Let's see if it lasts. Some of the field is just coasting. :23:

Nope lasted all race and fast all race. Vickers is a good driver.

The ending was ok, Casey Mears was overdue. :ORANGE:

Re: NASCAR thread

Another week and another Hendricks car finishes in 1st. :HOPPY:

I'm in the minority big time here, but it sucked to see Gordon out. But then when you qualify in the back with all the meatballs, has beens, and of course the Toyota's, expect them to take you out with them, it was no surprise to me.

I'm glad that Stewart did not finish 1st. My dislike for him is about as deep as most of you dislike one of the greatest drivers of all time in Gordon.

It was nice to see Jr.(some of us can like Jr. and Gordon in this world) run so strong. And of course to see the kids Mears and Yealey look so strong and finish 1- 2. And it was awesome to see Kyle Petty finish at #3.

Overall, very good weekend for me, another Hendricks car in first, Cavaliers finally beat the Pistons, and the Indians swept the Tigers.

Re: NASCAR thread

Didn't they say this was Kyle Petty's first top 5 in ten years?

falcongtho3 05-28-2007 08:53 AM

Re: NASCAR thread

Yeah, I think he had an 8th last year, but it's been since '97 since has was top 5 (also 3rd).
Petty also went into the infield crowd and picked people at ramdom to ride with him around the track! He may not be the driver everyone wants him to be, but he certainly is the personality for the sport that everyone should be. His work like that as well as the Victory Junction Gang camp for kids has shown that this is a class act.

Seriously, that's a great job he does with Victory Junction.

Kyle and Adam are and were nice people. Kyle may not have the wins of his dad or granddad but he's a much better man than those two. Adam would have been a fan favorite.

Kyle drove a good smart race all day, he deserved that 3rd.

I was hoping for a win from him, the fans would have lost their minds.

I'm with you on that one. Kyle is a class act all the way. Even as a Hendricks team fan, I was hoping that Mears and Yealey would run out of fuel so that Kyle could take the checkered flag.

Worked last week...I used it to hang up a lug nut, and then blow a tire.
Non-believers should stay away from south Louisiana.
Had another one for Jeffey....dropped it around lap 56...
