Will I need to roll my fenders?
Has anybody had any problems with tires rubbing with the 17 x 9 & 17 x 10.5 deep dish bullitt wheels? I am thinking of running 255/40/ 17 in front and 285/40/17 or larger tires in rear. Does anyone see any problems with this? Do you only have to roll your fenders if lowered? Thanks.

Thanks Screaming04...
Where did you get your wheels at? I found a set of black deep dish bullitts with the chrome lip from a dealer in Texas on eBay. Have you possibly heard anything regarding the quality of the wheels? They are a good price and look great in the photos...I'm just worried about how long the paint will last. Thanks again... |

I believe that everyone is selling the same product, they're made in China but I have no complaints. Don't think that I'd risk roadracing with them at the track. |

Just checked my links and crossroadz has free shipping too!

Re: Will I need to roll my fenders?
Roll 'em. I ruined a DR by just waiting to see if anything would rub. Well they did and now I'm out of about $300.:smack:

Re: Will I need to roll my fenders?
I ordered the 17 x 9 & 17 10.5 Black DD Bullitts yesterday...only $378 for the set shipped w/ chrome lugs and centercaps. I am going to go with 315/35/17 tires in the rear and 275/40/17 in the front as soon as I save a little more $. I am going to try some Sumitomo's...we'll see how well they'll do...I've heard mixed reviews. If for any reason they rub...I guess I'll roll the fenders. I've only encountered one person that has had a problem, so I'm hoping that it won't come to that. Thanks for all your input guys...you've been a big help.

Boy $378 is a great price! Beats my $440!! Where did you find those? |
Re: Will I need to roll my fenders?
Wheel Replicas on eBay (seller ID wheelindex)...they had a set for $395 which was extremely cheap...I called down to talk to them and they quoted me $320 as they were having a "blow-out sale". They even gave me Texas shipping cost w/ out taxes since I lived in Oklahoma. They have anthracite finish for $294, polished for $329, and chrome for $399. They also have 18's for about $50-$60 more per set and FR500's, 2003 + Cobra, and Saleen replicas for sale too. Their # is 888-449-4335.

Re: Will I need to roll my fenders?
Let me know if the sumi's rub. I checked tirerack and they are they have the same sectional width (actually a touch wider) as my tires.

Re: Will I need to roll my fenders?
I have 17" x 10.5" Bullitts on the back of my Mach 1 along with H&R SS springs. I'm running 315 Nitto DR's and have had no problems with rubbing. I've heard the Nittos run a little smaller than other brands.

Re: Will I need to roll my fenders?
315/35's on 17x10.5's in the rear here, and lowered with Eibach Pro-kit...no rubbing issues at all running sumitomo tires...
