I recently moved to the columbia sc area about 90 min from charlotte so I am in. Down for dinner if anyone wants and I am a member of Nascar HOF so would be down to go there if anyone wanted.

Thanks for posting up. I'm planning on going to the HOF on Wednesday when we get there. I think Russ is wanting in on that as well. Dinner plans for all of us will get put together as the date gets closer, but any recommendations you might have would certainly be appreciated.

I'm really surprised how few local club members are going. I think this iis a huge deal.
I did get my email from MCA/Shorty Brown about the award for receiving an award at an MCA Nat'l show within the past year. Apparently it will have the VIN# of your car on it. They had a question about my VIN and contacted me about clearing up the issue they had.

I printed up everything I have from the registration, I suspect that like most other shows I've attended you will get your registration packet and goodie bag/box at the event when you check in.

I sent in the pictures of my 87 GT for the Album, will be showing in Charlotte in the Unrestored class. Should be a great time!

No one has contacted me concerning a MORE parking area for the MACH 1 registry and I do not have a contact for anyone affiliated with them that I can reach out to.

"To qualify for a MORE parking area the group must have at least 20 cars. You can join another group if you coordinate with them but the whole purpose in setting the MORE program up was so groups, such and MACH s could park together. Do you belong the the MACH 1 registry? If so maybe you could contact them about applying for a MACH 1 Registry parking area. Again it only takes 20 cars.

I know we were contacted about the program and it had been discussed here at some point (I thought it was on this thread, obviously not), but there was a decision not to due to the fact we'd be parked outside of the track.

Better to be Parked outside instead of being Trapped Like a Rat inside all Day every day....(my 2cents)..I signed up for the M.O.R.E Parking with Team Shelby, all Mustangs are welcome with them..just gotta let them know..:borg:( Here is who I signed up with from Team Shelby...I don't think it's a prerequisite to be a Team Shelby Member) " For those Team Shelby members that are going to Charlotte in April I have started the official spreadsheet that is needed to participate in the M.O.R.E. program. What I need from you is your name, address, phone number and email address. Please send that info to me at

Received this from Steve Prewitt, MCA President. I am quoting his reply. " The MORE parking will not allow transition back and forth. If you sign up for MORE that is your parking area for the entire event. "

If u guys want let's start a convoy from Harrisburg area. I was thinking maybe the Colonial Park Mall nice big parking lot. What time do u guys want to meet? Anyone else interested? if anyone can think of a better place to meet let me no also.
