had another guy that had me do a 03 Cobra coupe in silver for him, want another one done and also still wants a sonic blue one. This one started out as a red coupe and he wanted it Comp Orange, which I do not mind doing, love the Comp Orange. just getting it back together, still need to see what he wants done to the eaton and valve covers. This one had to have some body work done, who ever had it before had did a really sloppy job gluing on the spoiler and basically had to break it off and sand it even. lucky there was a cobra spoiler for sale on ebay that I grabbed up. waiting on it to come in so I can spray it.
This one has smoked headlights, rear window, taillights, side markers. silver heat exchanger, and I should be filling in the rear bumper by time its all done. Also got to see what he wants me to do with His rims.

CO is done, here are just a few pictures, a few was before the spoiler was painted and installed
I had to tape off the shiny part of the rim and spray the inside black the look amazing like this and I've done a few this way

This silver came out really bad for what I like them to. It was a different color and the guy asked me to spray it silver, something with the temp or something the paint just did not like it, and truly told the guy I was very upset with how it came out, but we are either going to get a hold of another one or I'll sand this one down and respray it. is not the silver that comes on the mustangs just a matte looking silver. he also asked if I would try to put a silver lip on there, which first time go around on that, which I tried on another set of cobra rims I had to tape off and I'm very happy with how those came out, but thought I would share, just not happy with this guy at all, some flaws on it, which I'm honest with the guys who are buying these, just tell them the truth, I just want them to be happy with what they are getting.

here are the tape off rims that I sprayed to make a gunmetal look on the inside with shiny lip on the out, came out ok

Its funny looking back at when I first started these and seeing how I do them now, it took trial and error to get it down right. I got a bunch more, just wanted to share, since this thread is for die-cast. truly its fun to do this and the extra cash is not bad either
