Recieved the MMR custom front drive MSD distributor & powder coated cam covers. Took pics of the driver's side only, with MSD modified distributor by MMR.

Nice! What is the cost for that set-up? Could you take a pic of the inside?

Naz

PS. Thanks for the info!

You and Jeff are gonna have fun getting the distributor in exactly phase.

Has Mark changed the gasket material on the cam cover or just still using stock?

Since I'm using a crank trigger, the adjusting of rotor phase should be easier vs if the distributor was controlling timing. Just have to rotate the distributor housing to align rotor tip to proper cap terminal, when MSD crank trigger wheel & pick up are aligned. MSD sent a good Tech Bulletin on methods of rotor phasing pending which type of ignition timing/pickup is being used with a distributor.

The cam covers still use the factory rubber gaskets. The distributor has an O-ring that seals in modified port of cover.

After talking with Jeff Chambers tonight, he will be dropping my heads off at Fox Lake Power Products (Ron Robart) to start their stage 3 CNC process. Including Full-Torque/full thread, aluminum spark plug inserts that I've requested.

Block/crank will be dropped off at CRT Performance (Jeff Chambers) to start the build up of the short block.

Re: Custom Intake Carbureted & Nitrous Setup

Jeff Chambers showed me today where the aluminum block has a lot of casting flash that pulls off by hand. Mostly inside where the oil pan bolts to the block, along the sides of the main caps. I was pretty shocked at the ease of this flash being pulled off.

I'm lucky none of this flash decided to come off and damage the motor/oil pump. Needless to say, the block will be deburred/cleaned of all casting flash.

Let the build begin!!!!!!!

Found a company in Ohio that fabricates .040" aluminum panels for 94-04 mustang engine bay inner fender wells, trunk, rear seat, door panels and so on. I'm planning on installing aluminum panels thru out my engine bay to hide/clean up the compartment.

Here is the link, scroll down untill you come to 94-04 Mustang:

Started the Strange master cylinder install, right now I'm mocking it up after removing the factory setup. This Strange manual brake MC is shifted away from the mod motor cam cover vs factory.

I have Scott from Scott Rod Fabrication, designing me an aluminum engine bay panel kit.

Your brake manifold of yours . Im interested in dropping that weight block .
My question is this . Im running the SSBC Big Brake kits on the front as you know . I dropped the rear big brake kits and im now running the FRPP Anniversary set with the Powerslot turbo rotors . I like driving the car on the street and having my ABS brakes as well . I read your entire thread so im wondering if i install this with your manifold block will it keep it the same as i have now , and if so where and how should i mount it ? Meaning right next to your block ?

I havnt seen another build like yours anywhere ? I do mean anywhere .

Gitr done , so we can all see it .
