Cruise control not working.

I checked all fuses, any ideas what may be wrong. How does the cruise control system work? Then I might be able to trace the issue. BTW I have stock throttle body. Only mods that may affect are are clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster. I thought maybe the pedal wasnt springing back enough causing the car to not go into cruise.

Re: Cruise control not working.

Could be:
Cruise button on steering wheel (or connection)
Clockspring (horn work? Airbag light on?)
Module or connection (LF footwell behind splash shield)
Cable busted or disengaged from module
Cable off of TB or pulling through bracket

Pretty sure horn still works. Airbag light is off. How would I go about checking the other things?

well if your horn works and no airbag light then clockspring is ok, id check under the hood at the tb and make sure the cable didnt come off and also check to make sure that the plugs in the CC module in the driver footwell behind splash shield are connected... if all thats ok then it might be time to go into the dealership...

When you say splash shield, do you mean the dead pedal?

Re: Cruise control not working.

Is it possible to get a skematic of the cruise control system? Originally I started having issues when the firewall adjuster was not adjusted properly due to me having pulled the clutch cable too much making it too tight at the tranny and too much slack at the firewall adjuster. I would have to put my foot under the clutch pedal and pull up on it to make the cruise work. Now I fixed the cable everthings good there, the cruise just wont work. I figure that may have something to do with it so if I can see a diagram then I may be able to better trace it.

In worst case I have to buy a new servo correct? And thats about 60?

How do I find the CPP switch? (clutch pedal position switch)

Follow the clutch pedal up under the dash.
