In an effort to add pertinent information to the thread I think that it would be valuable to post the specific part numbers.

Additionally as other people may have a similar question this would reduce the redundant PMs to machgsxr & lookngo.

Re: Eaton Swap.....

xw4z9d475ab - EGR valve
2r3z9d477ad - EGR tube
(9J432) Bracket for vacuum stuff on left side of the S/C
(9H465) Vacuum stuff
(9J459) Vacuum stuff
(9J460) Vacuum stuff
(9E498) Hose's or tube cluster of connectors for the vacuum parts above
e6az9d476b - EGR gasket

You can delete all these off for an egr delete. I don't know the correct names for the vacuum parts, but it can all be thrown in the trash.

You will just need some vacuum hose to make a connection and get rid of all the cluster. You can pick it up at Auto Zone for like 5 bux.

Might still want to pick up the gasket so you can make a blockoff for the back of the eaton or pick up one of the blockoff kits (I think they come with a gasket).

If he makes a plate yes, keep the egr gasket, but if he buys the egr delete kit from ford, it comes with the gasket.

I have not had a problem with it.

Hey what are you guys doing for that plug in the lower intake? Just plug it off? Im also doing EGR delete if that matters for this plug? And dont know so i will ask, will this affect my whipple plans in the future or do those come with new lowerS?

From what I have read a few have blocked it off. I have put the fitting that belongs in there and hooked up all the pcv hosing into it like it belongs.

EGR would not matter for that plug. 2 seperate deals.

Neither will affect your plans for the whipple and the whipple uses the same lower that you are using now.

Re: Eaton Swap.....

Ok thanks gsxr, did you use just regular tubing and make it yourself with a 90' fitting? or what did you use?

and another quicky, does the intercooler bolt to anything or does it just sit in the lower?? Surely it mounts somehow?

Mine hasn't work since the swap! Can't figure it out?

Also a 3.10 pulley would make 11-12pounds of boost. I make 9-10 with long tubes and a catless-x.
