2018 50th Anniversary Cobra Jet
 

Ford has been on a roll lately, lots of great performance vehicles coming out. The new Cobra Jet will be a NHRA legal, drag strip monster straight from the factory! Projected to run mid-8 second, 150 mph 1/4 mile! Sporting a supercharged 5.2L V8. Hmmm...I wonder how similar this engine will be when compared to new GT500 as far as power output. All Ford needs to do now is make another Mach 1 with N/A 5.2L Coyote-based engine. Slot it between the Bullitt and GT350. Maybe with 500 hp, 460 tq and a more drag strip focused suspension setup :)

They are. The 2020 all electric SUV Mach 1. :COOL::rolleyes:

I’d like to see what you said happen. 500hp N/A 5.2 S550 Mach 1 would be a sweet car. That name doesn’t deserve to be put on a Hybrid SUV.

I definitely concur, the Mach 1 name shouldn't be on anything that's not a Mustang. I hope Ford scraps that whole idea. If a S550 Mach 1 Mustang ever comes out, I would consider adding another horse to the stable to pair with my 2004 Mach 1.
