They're painted. Tried to go sliver like they were from new. It was getting darker. I'll get some better pics of the wheels when it gets nice here.

After all of these years I would still love some 10.5" Mach 1 replicas. Tired of the cost of 18" tires!

They look great! I finally cleaned mine up. These wheels really look good in person. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a556484a79.jpg

^ Looks good fellas! Nice to see something fresh and people taking chances on something different. Also nice to see vendors still making new stuff for these cars.

Thanks! I'm surprised more people haven't picked these up especially when they were on sale.

Was able to get these 18X9, 18X10 AFS wheels on sale for $350 shipped from Evilbay. I added Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 235-35-18 and 295-35-18.

I got some of the black ones for mine as well. I also had a red pin stripe added to the lip. I'm still making up my mind if I like them or not.

Re: The Wheel Pictures Thread

I'm trying to decide on wheels and tires.

I like the AFS Mach 1 wheels, but those guys are virtually impossible to get in contact with, and I don't even see the 17x10.5 listed anymore. The 18x10 is listed individually, but the 18x9 is only listed as a full set. Ordering from them seems to be a nightmare.

I also like the dark stainless AMR wheels.

Finally, the black chrome Saleen wheels are SWEET but they are more expensive and the 18x10 is out of stock.

Then, with tires I really want a 295 out back and 265 up front...but I DO NOT want a summer tire. I want a set of all-season tires. I ran summer tires on my 2001 GT and unless it was sunny and 85 outside they would just spin like crazy. Problem is...almost all 295+ tires are summer rated.

This is frustrating.....

Finally got my AFS wheels on after sitting on them for over a year waiting for my Nitto Invos to go bald. I remember thinking the Invos hooked well for stock power. The new setup is light years better.

Front:
18X9 / 275-35-18 Toyo R888R

Rear:
18X10.5 / 315-30-18 Toyo R888R

I've always liked the black rims and the black chrome ones were really sharp looking. These look great.

Looks excellent! I still want to roll the rear quarter panel lip on mine. I don't need to at the moment, but I don't want to have to worry about it later if I change things. I should probably just buy a roller lol. Probably cost about the same as having someone do it. How do you like the 888R's?

Thanks! You may want to look into a generic brand fender roller. I got mine on Amazon for like ~$50 shipped. Logic being that even if it was total garbage I wouldn’t be out too much money. It ended up working really well! As for the R888Rs - they are awesome. Feels like a brand new car. Crazy what tires alone can do for ride comfort and handling.
