Torch Red VIN's

Torch Red Owner's if you have a VIN please post it here. We are in the early stages of possibly forming "Krewe de la Mach Rouge" (a club if you will of Torch Red owner's) should you wish to participate.

This is the brainstorm of "Falcongth03" and is just an idea at this point. Not sure yet what we are going to do but John has some ideas. Thought it might just be a fun thing to do.

Thanks

Okay, so who's driving this bus and where the hell are we going with it?:MADNOEL: :??:

POLSMACH03 12-19-2002 09:27 AM

We ain't driving yet we are still in the pits. Falcongth03 the President and Founding member is holding the green flag so I guess it's his call.

And if I look in the pits I see no bus; just red 2003 Mach 1's.

By the way Jim just to let you know YOU are the Vice President. I decided to assign you this upper management position that was assigned to me by the President and I will serve as Secretary/Treasurer. If anybody else would like to serve as either Secretary or Treasurer please let me know and I will be happy to relinquish that role.

How bout you Bart????

As King of the Court of the Krewe de la Mach Rouge, I welcome you. POLS has been appointed Jester of the Court, in thanks for his dilligence in getting this little adventure off the ground. He has done well so far in keeping a good list of those who have Mach Rouge ! I am hoping by the time the holidays are done I can get more time to devote to this bit of fun and we can put together some things to make the Mach 1 experience a little more special. :D  (Kidding, Steve! I reall ythink the Court Jester should drive...maybe an Azure Automatic, maybe somebody with a first name of...say...Frank?! )

Kevin can't be the treasurer - he travels in disguise. No one knows where he lives, what he looks like or anything. He just wants the money. Kevin, you're gonna have to show all of us your face before we show you the money! By the way, can anyone confirm Frank's post on StangNet that Kevin is Bill Clinton?

Heck - I'm going for the glory! I have been treasurer of our Mustang club for the past three years, so I volunteer too!

P.S. Kevin - please don't whine - I'm just pulling your leg. Well sort of...:D :D :D

P.P.S. I'm your man!

i am red

falcongtho3 12-29-2002 02:12 PM

This seemed like a good place to pose this question. Does anybody know how close the Torch Red (a.k.a. Colorado Red) is to the Performance Red from the '00 Cobra 'R'? It has been a long while since I have laid eyes on one, and the variations in printed publication rarely do justice to actual colors, especially the Torch Red color. As I am also afflicted with reg/green color blindness, it would take a better eye than mine to make the determination unless they were parked side by side. Thanks.

Bart 12-29-2002 06:46 PM

A close friend has an 00 Cobra R. Torch Red is definately more "Red" than his car. Both are sharp but his car has quite a bit more orange in it.

Thanks tons! Really didn't know and was wondering where the Torch Red had originated, or if it was just a new color. (Like the Azure Blue's origin as a tractor color:D, or the Oxford White starting out on Ice Cream trucks:D :D or the Zinc Yellow having Taxi Cab origins:D :D :D Kidding guys...
