Screamin' spotted in Texas

I can't remember the last Mach 1 I saw around here. This bad boy jumped right out at me in an enormous and crowded parking lot from atleast an 1/8 mile away. Real clean car from what I could tell as I crept by. Would've liked to talk to the owner but they must've been in a store. Maybe I'll see it around..

looks like Ash's old car with a nice coat of wax.

think it has been over a year since I've seen a Mach 1 on the street.

It was a clean car. The owner(s) have loved it. It also had the black cdc mach 1 trunk lid panel and what appeared to be an SLP catback judging from what I could see of the tips from 20ft or so away. (How do I know this crap?) I'm liking the black 99-01 Cobra wheels (I think the 03-04 premium edition GT cars also got those wheels or something almost exactly like those).

Haven't seen Ash on the forum in a long time. Anyone know what's up with him?

He's good. When I talked to him a couple months ago he was finishing his master's degree and doing charitable counseling work.

Found something else interesting in the wild today. Had to stop and creep for a min. :fro:

Some decent looking classics.

Quite a few still rolling around with exhaust and cai. Took 1 out in my new infiniti last week, hell with a break in. 37 miles and a kill already under its belt 😂

Lol! That's how you start a new relationship with a car.

Reminds me of my dad's old c7z. His buddy who owns a pharmacy across the street from the dealership where he bought the z was leaving in his tt viper. Not even 2 miles and the z had already been beaten. :23:

I kinda felt bad, the kid looked so butthurt. He was all about maximizing his performance too. He rolled down his windows and I saw him reach over and turn the ac off and I just walked away with my ac on 67, my moonroof popped up and some old school korn jamming haha.

Man time flies... I haven't chatted with him since the last time I was around Houston in November 2016.
He was busy with his church, his PTSD group and doing some work with his tractor.
