All-Ford Nationals at Carlisle 2-5 June 2016 ...>

Okay, I'm leaving Homewood Suites in the morning (8 June 2015) to head back home and prepare for Carlisle 2016. Anybody plan on coming to that one? Of course we are. (LOL)

Anybody going to show up with a new Shelby GT-350? Saw a few folks drooling over the two at the 2015 show. Will we have anymore surprises? Will there be a special Carlisle Wedding in the future for a couple of our members? Will the new Homewood Suites grilling area still be there or burned down by then? Will they change their breakfast meal times back to 0600 sharp by then? What will our M1R cake look like? This years was fantastic again as always. So many questions and challenges for next year. Make sure you're here to see. :orange:

We plan on being there with a new MR1 cake. Hopefully we can arrive a little earlier so we don't have to spend time washing and prepping the car instead of enjoying the club picnic. We ran into an issue Friday morning and had to go by the shop first thing. We arrived much later than we had hope for.

BBQ area was downright awesome, but I wasn't so enamored with the inside of the hotel. The term "Industrial Psychotic Decor" comes to mind...

I looked up a couple of times and thought a C-130J was making an assault landing in the dining room.

What about the curtains that would not close, only the shears. The curtain rod stopped at half open position...:smack:

You had to reach in and pull the shades closest to the window.

That's what you get for missing the meeting...

Thinking maybe next year's cake should be a M1R fire extinguisher.

I need a favor from everyone coming next year or that was there this year.

The favor is for you to email me your favorite picture of your current Mustang. The picture will become part of a one of kind item that will be raffled off at the picnic next year. As with this year all proceeds will go to the Registry. The only difference is, if my ticket is pulled again, I'll be keeping it. It is something that will be able to be used for most of the year and will be a conversation piece for the rest of the year.

For those with more than one Mustang, send me a picture of each and we'll do our best to make all of them part of the item.

I'm also going to post this in this year's thread for those that have not posted in this one yet. The item is going to take quite a bit of time to make so the sooner you can get me the pictures the better.

I'm scared to drive it further than I can afford to have it towed. About 150 miles is my limit. And yes, I'm :32: (LOL).

Since you hoodlums sucked us back in and planted the seed this summer, can you start the "GT/CS" division :3amin:

We just got back from dinner at a great little Thai place on 15 in Dillsburg and were talking how much fun Carlisle will be this year

I thought after almost 30 some odd years and at least 20-25 Mustangs we were done....bastards!!!!
