I wouldn't call my car a daily driver much anymore, but I used to daily drive it with the cams, never had any issues. Drove it for probably 20K miles with the cams in so far. Drove it up to carlisle and down to Myrtle beach with them and it acts like a stock mach until you get into the go pedal. I would also follow his advise and just get some custom grinds, I mean they make great power (look at my sig) but with more duration they will have a much meaner idle which mine lacks.

mean idle=mean loss in tq

What MAF are you running?
C&L housing with stock electronics and sensor.

You're better off getting some custom grinds with more duration anyway.
I agree. I eventually saw the light.

This would have to be qualified because a mean idle to one person may be mild to another. A better way to say it is the meaner the idle the more tq is loss. I would say my idle is average but because I have custom cams the tq is still up there (360).

Fr500 cam kits are no longer available. I bought the last of the kits a few years ago.

Id love to get cams for my 04 Mach, but i am not that savvy on doing it myself. guess the question would be if I were to go with Comp camps, how much would it cost to install? seeing that springs and valves for that kit were not good on stock heads. not all cams are that way when you purchase them are they?
