I'm going to give this a shot for purely 'scientific' reasons. MY VIN is 1fafp42r63f340804. I've got on good authority that the build date was 11/7/02. I'm asking if you would pull a report on mine simply to a) see if the oasis date matches and b) find out if there is any reason behind the mystery behind a long lag time between build and delivery. The most interesting part of that is the milage listed at the top. When I picked up the car it had around 35 miles on it, not the 5 shown. I wonrder if that was just a number they plugged in since it was new or they really put 30 miles on it before deilvery? Many thanks!

As for the mileage, when I pulled mine, it showed the correct milage as entered in Arcona (Fords Database) at the time I purchased the car.

LOL Maybe this problem is really just an "undocumented Mustang feature", because my 2001 Bullitt did the same thing. It's really strange when the windshield washers come by themselves when your are using your wipers and left turn signals at the same time.

Also, another easy was to find your born on date is to open the glove box, gently squeeze the sides until it rotates down freely. There is a sticker on the back of the glove box that'll give you that information. Not trying to step on Donnas feet, she's been a real jewel in helping clear up a lot of things.:THUMBSUP:

My window sticker (small round sticker on the windshield said Nov 18) my glove box 11/14. Sorry about the Vin mix up my guess is my "x" in the 9th digit position other than a "7" I see on others. Do you know why that is?
