Help with Adjusting Clutch.

1 Attachment(s)
Just installed an RST over the weekend.

Issue I’m having is the engagement is so high on the pedal I’m concerned that the Clutch isn’t fully engaging. (First inch of pedal travel).

What is the correct way to remedy this? I do have an adjustable cable, firewall adjuster and quadrant.

It seems to me I need to add some slack to the cable.

Picture for attention. Thanks guys.

Sup wutang! I think those twin disc clutches need an adjustable pivot ball stud iirc

What’s up buddy?

Well that’s gonna be a swift kick to the nuts.

Guess I better get on the phone with McLeod and find out for sure.

I dont think Ive ever seen one work correctly with the stock pivot ball. Be prepared to take it in and out a couple times to get it right, I was thankful to be doing mine with motor and trans out of the car. Can you look through the inspection hole and see if the PP fingers are depressed or not? Make sure you're checking the clutch fork against the body of the trans too.
