Boy Pat, you really want to get it done, don't you! LOL!. Right now the outside temperature is about 18 degrees and my garage is about 55. That's because I installed a propane garage heater on the wall last winter when I was having my blower ported. It was a great investment, even though I no longer have the Cobra. I can actually wash our cars when the temps are around 30 outside (with hot/cold water from the garage) and then pull them in to dry with just a shirt on. LOL! And it's great going off to work in cars that are already partially warm. I'd recommend a garage heater to anyone.

just as a follow-up....


I did get them installed with the shifter on Christmas Eve. Awesome! So much better than messing with gasket cement. Prob is that I have since re-installed the factory shifter, due to excessive effort required to shift crappy Tremec. I have a doctor wanting to do carpal tunnel surgery on my shift hand, but I am not opting for it.....so, have to take it easy and go with longer shift throws. May have a buyer for the shifter, already. If not, it and the gaskets will be posted in the Registry. Thanks again, CobraBob.

Hey Pat, how do you define "bitter cold" down there in Tennessee? LOL! Our temps have been in the -5 - +5 degree range over the past week. Enjoy the gasket set!
