Update:

Okay the swap is complete, just have to wire in the I/C pump, install fuel pumps and hat, and drive it over to the shop to get dynoed. Hopefully everything will be good to go. Did an EGR delete, idles well, starts great, fixed the fuel leak at the injectors. Just got to figure out a bracket for the shaker.

Na i just wired it into the red wire that's on an ignition switch. So constantly runs when i have the key on. Also removed the center of the thermostat and my temp gauge on the dash reads colder than normal now. No head cooling mod.

You might want to rethink that. Have you researched what it takes or what is recommended to support the twin gt pumps?

Your running GT pumps without a wire upgrade or a modified FPDM?:12:

I need help ASAP.....

I have the complete swap done minus the Cobra Pumps & Cobra MAF. THe car cranks, but will not start. I am getting a 1233 code from the SCT. I just swapped the FPDM from an 03 Cobra in and still will not start. I need some help narrowing down the items to start with. I know I have fuel pressure, pumps kick on etc... Any help would be greatly appreciated :worship:.

Thanks

^ Use the search feature, there's info on this subject, use the link below and scroll to your code.

PS..I hope you're not trying to run an eaton swap with a stock pump and maf.

I did use the search feature and the results are large. Instead of directing me like a child, wouldn't it be easier to lead me in the right direction? You've obviously done the swap, so what would cause the car not to run with the stock pumps. MAF is an easy swap and I can test that if needed. I just wanted to have it fired up to bleed fuilds out and then dig into pumps etc...

I swapped the FRPS and now I have no codes. Anyone have any input?

Point in the right direction? What would you like me to do, fly to you and click on the link for you?? Just because you get 3 pages on this subject using the search button doesn't mean you just stop and wait for people to answer your question. I didn't mean to get your panties in a bunch with my first post, if I was trying to just be an Ahole I wouln't have posted the link. You want to be pointed in the right direction?? How about you finish the swap COMPLETELY and then try to figure out why the car wont start.

Re: Eaton Swap.....

Here.....1 minute worth of searching....

Code 1233 is a Fuel Pump Driver Module is offline and in a no start condition. Did you change the FPDM to a modified one? Also, try re-setting the little red button inside the trunk on the left rear side by the taillights. All else fails, re-check your connections to all the wiring you messed with while installing your tank. Its pretty much plug-n-play. You might also check your fuses. I think there is a pump fuse in the power distribution block in the engine compartment by your battery. Check those fuses and make sure one isn't blown. Hope this helped

By wiring it that way, the ignition switch will carry all the load from the pump and everything else that it runs. its not meant to run a IC pump. it needs its own fuse also. it will be to much for the ignition switch to handle and can make it go out. just take that red wire that powers the pump and run it to a relay. then ground the relay, run a power wire from the battery to the relay, then the a wire from the relay to the pump. not hard and will save you trouble down the road and it will be like 10 dollars to do so its not much money.

Thank you for the info and help. Is it possible to run it to a spare fuse somewhere and achieve the same thing? Ill look into the relay as well.

Yea I saw that one a while back, good numbers. What mileage do you have on yours?

Yea tunes done. Only 15° of timing up top, fat fuel, 8psi, gt pumps, cobra hat, jlt filter, stock maf with MAFia, bassani catted X, Borla stingers, irs, predator tuned very conservative. So I can DD it and race it. Looking for longevity. 425hp/383 ft lbs. We made more power at 15° but fattened the fuel.

Very nice, we made almost identical numbers. Enjoy and dont let the power bore you otherwise you'll want more.

I dont think so. i look for a spare fuse and didnt find anything that would work. i just mounted my relay beside the filter. I ran black wires so it isnt noticeable either.
