Gotta re-join MCA (it's been about 15 or so years), and then a number of our local club members are going to try to join up with MAA around Jackson, Mississippi. It'll probably only add about an hour or so to our trip, and should make the whole event that much more fun. Can't wait!

Also registered for the Mustangs Across America Tour. We're gonna do the short version and meet up at the lunch stop in Jackson, Mississippi. It''ll add only about an hour to the travel time from here to Birmingham. We've done some small caravans to local events, but this should be huge! A number of our local club members have indicated they want to participate as well, so it should add a good number of cars at that stop.

Got my hotel reservations, now all I have to do is get a check off for the show registration.

Is anyone going for 'Judged'? I'm thinking display/participant, but I wanted to get some input from others who are attending.

John, whatever we did at the 30th last time. I'm doing this time. I guess that was a display/participant type thing. Even though the cars were "judged", we all got trophys in the end. My new MCA # is 53026.

I sent my money in two weeks ago for the Judged show and the night with Ford for my wife and I. Total= $210. We will be staying at the Doubletree in Birmingham AL., the headquarters of the MAA. :)

Bill, that was what we did last time and I was more than happy to be in that group. I'll clean my car to the best I can, but don't want to be stressing out over all the details. The funny thing about my new MCA number is that it's the same as a ZIP code not 5 miles from me.

24K, I know you'll have a great adventure getting from Seattle all the way to Birmingham. Lots to see and do. We'll see you in Jackson!

we went with the display/participant, didnt want to get tied up on cleaning details or waiting all day for a judge to show up, want to be able to wander around at will, enjoy everything and hang with friends.
Going to be a challange to fit it all in i think, dividing the time with the MAA Caravan, friends from the Yellow Mustang Registry and wanting to meet people from here that we havent yet.
Will certainly be a great time.

Looks like Sunday night MAA will have a 'farewell' dinner. Should be cool. They've got a bit over 200 cars currently registered, and there's still nearly 9 months to go!

booked a room at the Quality Inn (Host hotel, as per this site) checking in April 15.

Went for Judged - WTF. I hope to get a momento from the 45th too.

Takin that week off from work, not sure what day I'm leaving home start my drive.
There was talk of some caravan to the 45th stopping in Ky or something similiar I was listening to in Carlilse.

Anything come of that ??

The MAA Cruise as of today has 318 signed up. The past record was 324. We have a little over 6 months to go. :soapbox:

Make me 30 I'll plan on going but I will be pulling my car down. I can take tools, BBQ and items for others. Coming from Central Ohio, but I don't think I will arrive till the 16th and leave that Sunday afternoon after judging. Can anyone advise which hotels have the best lots for trailers, or can I just dump it and the truck at the track and leave it.

Just a quick question, on the registration form I'm not 100% sure what this is.

Includes 2 weekend passes - $35

The cars are divided between judged and display cars. I think there are 250 judged and the remaing 2,xxx are display. The price of registration includes entry passes to the event. (Haven't looked at teh form in a while, so my numbers might be a bit off)
