Mach 1 Lug nut HELP
1 Attachment(s)
From what I recall these came off my 2004 Mach 1 when the car was new. I now have them up for sale, but I'm being told that they are not original lugnuts and that they are the wrong size for a late model Mach 1.
Can someone confirm whether or not these look to be Mach 1 lug nuts? Thank you in advance, Michael Attachment 67212 Click on image to enlarge. |
Re: Mach 1 Lug nut HELP
Those are not original 2003-04 Mach 1 lug nuts.

Re: Mach 1 Lug nut HELP
Greatly appreciate it. I got my car used in 2004 (900 miles) and those were the lugs that came on my car. Oh well.
Thanks again, Michael |
Now with that knowledge, it begs the question; why did they change the lug nuts on a car with 900 miles on it?

Hope this helps, Michael |
I read your earlier post. My statement was meant as to what might’ve been the reason for the lug nuts to be charged with less than 1000 miles on the car. Before it was sold to you.

Full back story.
I purchased the Mach 1 at the end of 2004 with only 900 miles on the clock. I was the 3rd owner. The 1st owner was a well know Silicon Valley CEO. He bought if for his wife, however as soon as he brought it home his Wife insisted he sell it. He did sell it to a good friend of his. The friend really wanted something he could tinker with. I ended up trading (+ cash on my end) my 1984 1/4 Mustang GT350 that I had owned for 20 years. I used the car mainly take to Car shows. This was the first car I found worthy of bring to many car shows. I sold in and ended top getting a 392 Charger which is the faster car I've ever owned. Attachment 67215 |
