Well...I do see comments from many people thinking it's just a GT with appearance package. haha!

Too bad the "going for" the writer stated were not accurate. I bet I'd be lucky to get $10k out of mine.

That’s funny
With all the attention the car gets these days I don’t get that perception at all. Most people I run into know exactly what this car is...
I like the idea the value goes up LOL...

Around here, in bow tie country, not many know about the New Edge Mach. Oh well, their loss.

Pick your poison.

I like the pre production Mach with the side skirts that are different from what they actual came with, looks like the Builltt ones on the car.

I actual like the 99 anniversary side skirts, most people confuse them with 03-04 cobra ones but they are not.

try and find those...I've been on the hunt for some time now...

I went with the Cobra side skirts, Bullitt scoops, and Cobra mirrors.

I'll never forget my first Mach 1.
Hell
I'm in the market for one right now, not gonna lie. Once I sell my bike I will be grabbing another mach :)

There aren't many to choose from, but I have one lined up now if he doesn't sell beforehand.

I think the only reason I keep mine is that you hardly ever see any and they look really good. You can forget about the power. Most cars now have as much and far more.

You are right about the power, but I never bought ours new for that. These car are special and I have a smile on my face every time I drive it. :orange:

Agreed,
The Mach was the #2 Mustang in the stable when it comes to power from the start. One of the things I liked about the car was the balance. Engine/brakes/chassis were just about as balanced as you could ask. Remember with a set of radials this car would run in the 12’s with little drama.
Did not buy it with the expectation beyond what it is.

Having spent almost a year now with my 2019 The Mach definitely feels more agrarian, but...this car was never just about power...

I snickered when I saw the headline. I am thinking, dude, these are the seriously remembered Mach 1s! You know, the ones that everybody who dislikes the 2021 model is saying "should have had a shaker like the '03-'04 Mach 1"!

:) :)

Re: The forgotten Mach 1?

You are so right, Tony. And if want to talk about forgotten Mach 1s, look no farther than the '74-78 Mach 1s!

Re: The forgotten Mach 1?

Well it seem that Ford also forgot the Mach 1 in the info commercial, having the new Mach 1 run around the track with the 69/70 model years and not even giving homage to the 03/04 model!!

Typical Ford BS!!!

And the ones they used both had rear spoilers (incorrect), one had Magnums (ditto), the other one had widened Mach 1 style chrome wheels, and one had some kind of weird euro high beams in amber. You think they could have at least dug up some correct cars.
