4500 rpms? Spin that thing higher! :)

Also rare for a centrifugal car to make more torque than horsepower.

Re: Official Procharger HP/TQ/mods thread:

since this thread has been going for some time I thought this would be a good place to post this question.

Given a perfect tune and install job, is there anyone out there with an internally stock motor that has had any problems with less than or equal to 6-8 Ib's of boost over the long term? I know we all get boost and HP hungry and push the limits, but lots of folks have told me that if we stay around 400 RWHP and/or 6-8 psi we are ok for the long haul. Thoughts?

I'm thinking of taking the procharger plunge on a stock motor but I don't want to end up rebuilding it later because I put too much stress on it. I'd rather save money $$ now and do a complete motor later if that's the only way to go for the long term...

Thanks in advance for the help!!

Nice numbers. Why such high compression?

i just wanted the stock spec motor it worked really well before....its nice more or less being it still has balls out of boost....

there is nothing wrong with a 8.5:1 motor.....this just takes half the boost to make the same number....

Did any of you that are running 400-450hp need to upgrade your clutch? Im planing on buying a used procharger P1SC, anything I should look for to make sure I dont get a bad kit? Anyone have any regrets with their procharger?

I'm up near fresno. Hit me up if you have any Q's.

There's a great guy in Clovis that knows his stuff for install and tune. I know that's a ways away, but I dont' know of anyone in Bakersfield.

I had a Used P1sc kit on my AB. It was great. The biggest thing will be the seal and how often the changed the oil. Make sure you get a 3.9-4." pulley.
