Flywheels

Are all modular engine flywheels a neutral balance? I know the older SBF's had a 28.8oz imbalance and the newer ones had a 50oz imbalance. I put a factory Cobra flywheel on my Mach when I did the T-56 install and just over 1k miles later, it's making all kinds of noises that sounds like it could be an exploded TOB to a main bearing.

Yes, they're all the same. What brand TOB and pilot bearing did you go with?

Re: Flywheels

I went with an FRPP tob and a national pilot bearing. The only other thing I can think could have done wrong was the guy that sold me the trans robbed the bellhousing to trans dowels and it is misaligned. I didn't check that as the bellhousing was tightly bolted to the trans.
