98k originals miles, only has slight surface rust underneath. Black on Black 5spd interior is in really good shape. Seats need new foam but covers are nice. Built 8/93, have seen higher vins so it is not the last but it was built in the last 2 weeks of the Fox period. Paid $2500 with all new cooling system and brake pads/rotors and drums.

Nephew ended up not wanting it (too old) but found out it was my brother's dream car in high school. That was news to me cuz he always had T/As and Camaros. So now I am restoring it and am going to give it to him when it is done. I have done a lot so far but don't want to write a huge post on it in this thread.

Scott (MRT) is working on an exhaust system for it. Told him it has to be loud, deep, and nasty as all Foxbodies should be.

If it still has the original drivetrain and runs good, you stole it. I'm sure Scott will put something nice together for you. Post it up sometime if you can.

It is almost done and will be 304SS. Current design will bolt to stock manifolds or shorty headers. He is doing an H-pipe (for me) and catback. Being designed for both LX and GT. You will order/install proper tip. He is also designing a bolt-on hanger to properly hang the tail-pipes. Scott said Ford did it wrong.

All original and other than exhaust, unmolested. Body is not perfect but have the parts to resolve that. I'm sure I will be happy with what Scott comes up with. He definitely has the ear for exhaust. For the Cobra I asked for deep and presence known without being too loud. I am very happy with it and it has gotten a lot of compliments. One of these days I need to switch the Mach's catback from the Borlas to one of his.

Oh well, forgot the LX has full length headers. But the catback should be the same. Yes the tips we have to keep tightening and straighten them out. I don't think I ever touched MRT's exhaust after it was installed, it just works.
Keep us posted on the fox body stuff, I'll be checking his website too.
I need a catted H pipe from MRT as well for the Mach 1. And man I'd like to buy a set of rear window louvers before they sell out...
Thanks

Scott, the reason the first version is for stock/shorties is because his LX and my GT both have shorties. If you had a set of Long tubes shipped to him or someone local has the same kind you have/want I'm sure he would be more than happy to make an H-pipe for you as that would be another popular part for him to offer. Give him a call and talk to him. I'll also text him about it tomorrow and put a bug in his ear.

I wouldn't solely rely on his site. He used the Cobra to do his 96-98 H-pipe and catback but both pieces are not on the site yet.

I actually did find your 1996 to 1998 mustang GT and cobra H pipes off-road and catted but you have to look in the 1994 to 2004 exhaust section. But I don't see a cat back option.

They will add more rooms for the M1R as we need them, unless the hotel is completely full.. :)

Booked and registered. Wife's staying home this year so I'm bringing my buddy Norm with me again. Looking forward to seeing the new Bullitt and picking up a copy or two of Tony's new Bullitt/Mach 1 book. Is it June yet? ;)

Any suggestions for a tent theme for this year? Any ideas?

Only Mach1Registry related significant date I can think of is this year will be the 15th year the Mach1Registry has attended Carlisle All Ford Nationals..

Next year will be strong since it'll be the 50th for the Mach 1.
As far as the tent theme, what if everyone supplies shirts from their local clubs so we can display how vast are reach really is!
(And then we'll demand...

wait for it...

ONE MEEEEEEEELLION DOLLARS!!!!)

Hmm!! No local club shirts that I can think of but should be able to represent NJ with some sort of local racing shirt.
