what are you guys recommendations and experience with putting a functioning rear spoiler on our mach's? i was looking at the steeda street wing but are these actually helpful?

Re: functioning rear spoiler
Is this for drag racing or road racing? If road racing, I would suspect you would want some front downforce as well, especially if you add downforce to the rear. But, I am far from any expert in this and I do not know what end results you are looking for.

Re: functioning rear spoiler
i think the Cobra R wing was what it took the provide some useful downforce. Im not convinced the steeda wing did much but I would imagine a google search might bring up some articles either by Steeda or MM&FF

Re: functioning rear spoiler
I would say take a tip from the serious big boys and what they use for instance on funny cars. Huge rear overhangs as to straighten out and catch as much air as possible, but little to no actual "wing" in the air stream as to not create drag.
For a simple bolt on wing for Mustangs, that would pretty much be the Saleen s281 https://acdn.americanmuscle.com/i/79...0603150248.jpg |
