TOB going! Any Reputable Shops in South Jersey Area?

Seems as though my TOB is going. Almost 96k miles. When I start the engine, I hear a loud screeching sound to which the pitch of that screeching changes when I press and let of the clutch pedal. Also sound goes away when the car has warmed up after 10+ minutes. As handy as I am, I just don’t have the expertise to perform this repair. Does anyone know of a reputable shop in South jersey area that if I bought all the parts needed to replace/upgrade things in the tranny, that they can perform the work?

Just throwing it out, if your paying to have the tranny dropped to change the TOB, I would go ahead and add an aluminum flywheel and have the clutch and pilot bearing changed while it's all opened.

Changing just the TOB us a pretty easy operation once you get past that 3rd starter bolt. Took longer to get that thing out than it did to get the tranny out...

I'll have to contact them and see what they say. Thanks for the recommendation.

That's exactly what i was thinking. Might as well replace/upgrade additional items while in there.

Could be just the clutch is not fully retracted to the rest position....I'd at least check it out first Or add an additional return spring down on the clutch fork to ensure it fully returns to the rest position. When it is squealing... put your toe under the clutch pedal & pull up on it...if the noise stops it's worth a try as it is less than $15 bucks at Home depot for parts.
