nope line upgrade is not necessary with our cars.

where i live we have crappy 91 so that tune was EXTREMELY conservative and it made 400/378 with like 13 degrees of timing. we added 2.5 degrees and E85 and it made 450405. i could have made more but i didnt want to push it with a stock longblock!

Thats a good increase for just E85 and retune, makes me wonder, if E85 was only a more abundant.

With an eaton, can you use a bap on the stock fuel system for a stock eaton swap

Focus pump and stock pump as the previous poster was asking about are two different things. And honestly I don't put much stock in what Kenne Bell says is safe.

I've been running the stock fuel pump with a KB BAP for about 15,000 miles. No problems so far. Don't see why it wouldn't work for an Eaton swap?

If you had your car tuned then they could tell you, otherwise you can datalog it yourself.

Wow! I bet it's maxed out at WOT, even with the BAP!

Oh boy, you better look at that, it can end catastrophic. Plug in your tuner, go to "Datalog", its gonna give you a list of parameters to datalog, just scroll down to fuel pump duty cycle, if I rememeber correctly its in decimals, 0-1.00, anything very close to 1 is a no no.

You mean a return pump in a returnless setup? Hardly.

Re: Official Whipple/KB/Eaton HP/TQ/mods thread:

or one GT pump and you'll you'll be good as long as your pockets are deep :claus:

or even better a Focus w/ BAP. cheaper and just as safe

Well, I'm just saying once you commit to a project like that, you will be spending dollars that you won't be able to recoup, if you decide to sell it after the build. If you're going to sell it, you should do it before you put that kind of money and effort into it.

Yes, I'll be at the car show. Should be good weather, and a fun time, if last years is any indication!
