If my little S trim can run 118 trap times with a 6,500 DA, yours should be able to take down a mid 120 trap CJ coyote in San Antonio. I ran mine at 18 degrees with a little leaded 110 mixed with 91. With e85 you should be good with 18+ and 10lbs. I'd do 22 degrees under 4k and taper it off to 18 at 7k.

Did you swap the snap ring on your auto so you can rev it to 7k?

I'm betting on you vs the ported CJ coyote :wolf:

Yes, snap ring has been swapped. Highest I ever spinned it to was 6,800 rpm so far.

that thing is screaming. Sounds good! You gotta love that initial start up when all the work is paying off. Who is gonna tune it for you? Lethal did a good job in mine with a conservative tune making 533.

Kotzur built Teksid motor around a 10.5:1 compression, minor porting work on the heads, 98 cobra cams, 42lb injectors, focus svt fuel pump with KB BAP, Vortech V2 with a 2.95 pulley pushing around 12-15#, treadstone FMIC with Vortech MaxFlow blow off and SCT BA5000 slot style MAF.

I have since this last picture moved the blow off valve to the hot side of the intercooler.

Thanks man! Likewise you to have a pretty sick build! I can't wait to see what numbers she'll put down. Yes Kotzur degreed the cams, I don't know the specs tho, I just paid the bill :3amin:. Yes Shawn is still over at Lethal, he has tuned my car for all three sessions that I've had over there. Maybe one night we'll all have to make a trip out to San Antonio Raceway now that it's open again.

Car should be on the dyno next week (finally). Now it's time for the guessing game. What are your thoughts on hp/torque? Im guessing or hoping for 540/500 to the wheels.

-Forged block
-11.3 cr
-Slightly ported heads, 1mm intake valves, 4 angle valve job
-98 cobra intake cams degreed @114/114
-3in. Exhaust
-P1 11-12 psi
-E-85.

*Built Auto w/ 3600 stall

Re: Starting my Build

Its been a while so i thought I'd update this. My car was having transmission issues on the dyno so I had to get it rebuit. Also went ahead and ordered a Circle D 3800 triple disk converter . The transmission builder told me it would handle 850hp which is more then what i need but i can't complain. And I'm hoping to have the Mach back within in the next 2 weeks (fingers crossed).

This Sh!t is starting to get reaaaallly expensive!!! I'm just glad i haven't gave up on it.

Thanks for the updating, sucks about having it on the dyno and issues come up and nothing wrong with being safer on what parts you are adding in there.
the two weeks will be here before you know it. good luck once you get her back

This is what I learned:
400rwhp - impressive and can hide the expense from the family, maintenance, take lunch to work.
500rwhp - getting serious and the wife's eyebrows are creeping higher
600rwhp - hp curve is almost pure vertical, so is your budget expense. No hiding this budget, you have officially joined insanity because you cannot justify any of it. (fwiw, 'but look at how happy I am' does NOT work)
750rwhp+ - Pure race car, no justification, just throw the budget out the window, you are way over your original estimate. Time to man up and buy her a mustang of her own, that is the only way she will understand.

as a sub note; from family and co-workers I never get ask how fast, quick, etc. The number 1 question is alway 'what is the MPG'; this deserves a slap on the back of the head, I'd drive a prius if I was concerned about that. BTW, it is 10MPG city, 14 highway. lol
