Didn't on my dyno runs before and after. Peak was right about the same, but I crossed the 300 ft-lb line 600 rpm's earlier. |

Re: What to do to get 300 rwhp on a Mach 1
Chris just re-adjusted the a/f back to 12.8, re-calibrated the MAF and added 1* timing, its an identical tune to my original really, just air/fuel tweaks.

My engine or tune must be garbage because I put down only 315rwhp & 327 rwtq with LT's, o/r H, catback, C&L 85mm maf, roy's 3/8" spacer, & xcal 2 tune... 19* base timing but I added 1* from 2000-4000 rpm's, & 2* from 4000-8000 rpm's on my Xcal2 on my last dyno pull on a dyno dynamics.... |
Re: What to do to get 300 rwhp on a Mach 1

Oh, and I would take those pulleys off. But that's me. |
Re: What to do to get 300 rwhp on a Mach 1
after seeing how little the crank pulley helped i'm thinking about it, and replacing the PS and Alt with Cobra R pulleys instead.

Re: What to do to get 300 rwhp on a Mach 1
Ive read every post here. Does anyone know if there is a gain or how much one person would expect with adding the Catback> I have a Bassani X pipe with cats,Now Im thinking of buying the Bassani Catback . Im just wondering if the catback will show much improvement?
|
Re: What to do to get 300 rwhp on a Mach 1
its cheaper to change the mufflers and keep the stock catback, you get pretty much the same results but its up to you

Re: What to do to get 300 rwhp on a Mach 1
I'll post my two cents - SLP Catted X, SLP LM1's, C&L CAI, NGK TR55IX's, 3/8ths spacer, SCT XCAL custom tune - 318/333 on a DYNO DYNAMICS dyno, which are usually more conservative.
