It looks like the 04 screaming yellow automatic is the rarest followed by the 04 oxford automatic.
From the numbers I have 1 of 512.

Frank,

He wanted 2003 NOT 2004, we don't have any breakdowns of 2003 right now.

We have had these numbers for a long time in the start of this thread
why are you reposting them?

From Ford:

The last VIN recorded in our database for the 2004 Mach 1 is: 1FAFP42R64F237884

The build date of that last Mach 1 VIN in our database was: 04/20/2004

Any chance in confirming the first build day of the 2004 Mach 1? I'm guessing it was 9/30/03 based on some build data I've seen.

I've read that 1,316 '04 Azure Blues were produced, but only 1,309 units were sold to the public. Where did the other 7 go? To Ford employees? Museums?

Re: Production Numbers !!! :)

magazines test reviews, etc...

There were 25 VIP (for Ford Execs) with Vins in the 3017XX range.

How do you determine which # your Mach is? Is it in the production sequence number off the VIN?

The VIN in no way reflects the production sequence. Dave's car (03mach1)has a much lower VIN than mine, but was built weeks after. The second built Mach (POLSMACH) has a VIN that is a few numbers after mine. Getting the certificate from FPG is probably the only way to be reasonably certain of your sequence number. And it is kinda cool to have.

Re: Production Numbers !!! :)

Ford Sequence numbers are all over the place unless in some circumstances a fleet order was put in and all shipped pretty much the same time, even that isn't always true. It depends on what Ford has in stock for different Packages or Motors or Trans. etc. It also depends on when the order comes in and if dealer 1 had more sales last yr. than dealer 2 that got pushed back in orders. In 2005 with the new Mustang converts a fellow Ford employee ordered his Vert in Dec. and was one of the last people to get his car built so when someone said a Ford employee ended up with the last one built in 2003 it makes total sense to me. I personally have 2 1972 Mustangs and they were built in the last days of production in 1972 and the lower vin was made after the higher vinned car according to the Lois Emminger gate copy report. In reality there is no rime or reason to there logic.

I feel like I'm beating a dead horse... but are the production numbers simply not available for 03 Mach automatics (Zinc yellow)?
