Interesting....

As a matter of fact, the dealer never told me about the repairs and now claims it is routine to charge miscellaneous "touch-ups" to any owner as soon as a warranty begins, even though the work predates the purchase. <sigh>

Oh well, I love the car anyway.

Donna, I'm curious, what's the difference between the warranty start date & the build date? Shouldn't they be the same?
I'm confused, as this is a car still at the dealership which I am putting an offer on. :confused:

That does seem quite odd. The warranty start date, I thought, was the date you purchased the vehicle. I wonder if someone else attempted to purchase, and had to bring the car back due to a financing issue ... or if there is just an error on the Oasis report for some reason?? Did you take notice to how many miles were on the odometer?

I haven't had a chance to check out the car yet because the dealership is over an hour away from me, but I will be sure to ask him if it was a demonstrator model or something, does this mean that if I buy it, I will lose that time on my warranty from 7/16 to now? I have to make sure I ask all of this to the sales manager.
By the way, have you seen this occurance on any other cars?
