They were on the car when I bought it. Sorry I couldn't be of much help. According to AFS's website, they're like $1600 a set but I'm sure they can be had cheaper on eBay.

Is your car lowered at all? if so, how much?

Hmbre97 08-21-2006 07:26 PM

Re: The Wheel Pictures Thread

Has the Eibach Pro-Kit springs on it. I want it a tad lower so I may swap them out for some H&R SS springs.

Nice looking rims. I see from your sig what size they are, I was just wondering if that 15-in rim fits over the stock brakes or if you had to make any modifications.

Thank you.
I switched to GT rear rotors. When doing that I had to switch the rear caliber mounting bracket.

From what I can tell, the lip on the 9" AFS wheels are the same as the stock Mach rims.

You can always find AFS rims on eBay for really good prices. I got my entire set of 18x9, new in a box, directly from AFS for $400.

These are some awesome looking cars. Has anyone seen the black chrome bullitt wheels on a black car. I am torn between black bullitts, black chrome bullitts, and black chrome heritage wheels for my black mach. I have not seen any machs or mustangs for that matter with the black chrome bullitts. If anyone has pics of the black chrome bullitts please post. I will be getting 17X9 front with 255s and 17X10.5 rear with 285s.

I've done a couple of cosmetic changes to the rear since this pic, but, the rims are still the same and all I get is compliments about them.

Thanks! I like the looks of those wheels from a distance, but I'm afraid they would look a little strange up close because of the black center section that covers up most of the brakes. How do you think they look up close?

How'd you manage to take a pic of my Stella when I wasn't looking Tototland? LOL. Stella has a distant twin in KS. Yours is the first born though. I really love those rims. You've just motivated me to go take more pics of Stella now.

I like them and they do cover up the brakes but that is no big deal to me.

MattN03,

They say its "hyperblack" on their website. Its the exact color of the inside of the stock heritage 5 spoke our cars come with. Look at the gray on the side of the spoke and its that color exactly

StangIT 09-22-2006 06:44 PM

Re: The Wheel Pictures Thread

Man... I gotta wonder how those would look on my DSG.
I want to go with something that has a nice polished lip and med-dark grey indide... Keep kicking around the Anthracite Bullits, but I just don't know!

MoCkiN U 09-22-2006 09:41 PM

Re: The Wheel Pictures Thread

they would look sick!!

they are on clearance right now so dont wait too long to make that decision.

Be prepared to put a 1/2 spacer up front and a little caliper sanding on the corner of the caliper to knock the edge off to make that front spoke clear the front caliper. Everywhere else clears no issue

Not a mach 1, but a photchop of my car with mach 1 wheels. I have these wheels already, but need tires. I am going to go with 255/40 out back and 225/45 up front, there isnt as much room for tires in these old cars as the new ones...
