21 here and on my second stang :HOPPY:
Sadly most of the other mach owners that I have seen are 50+ years old :( I guess that I am the only young guy in town who likes heritage and not ricer trends. |
28 and on my second Mustang.
|
Will be 30 next August. 4th stang so far...
I'm sorry, 5th Mustang. Forgot about the V6 I traded for the Mach:HOPPY: 1st: 1998 V6 (Owned for 3 months, problems the entire time that the dealer couldn't fix) 2nd: 1998 GT (Dealer swapped the V6 for this, to get me out of there) 3rd: 2001 V6 (Actually, it was the wife's. I bought if for her out of the blue. Her first NEW car...6 miles on the ODO) 4th: 1992 GT HB (9th Anniversary gift to the wife) 5th: 2001 Mach (10th Anniversary gift from the wife to me) |

Well shoot, I may as well help out an old thread too.
I'm 31 .. And I have a problem with Mustangs. 82 GLX 95 Mustang GT (poor baby got totalled) 97 Mustang GT (traded) 2000 Mustang Convertible (traded) 2004 Mach 1 Growing up my dad has a 64 1/2 coupe (restored/stolen) and a 65 Fastback (sold). He also seemed to really like Ford Mavericks. Luckily that one didn't wear off on me. |
Hello all... I never noticed this thread before, but i was wondering the same thing... it nice to hear from guys who are over 40 that still like to live a little. It makes getting older not so dreadfull...
im 24... and the years are going toooo fast... Thanks all. Happy holidays :MADNOEL: Brian |

Don't knock the Maverick. I know it's a Comet, but:

I'm your basic 49 year old Southern California Kid. Still working out at the gym, fit and feeling more like 25......and that's before I get behind the wheel of the Mach 1. After I get in the car I'm about nineteen.
I have to admit though that installing my own MagnaFlow X-pipe and cat back probably wasn't as fun as it would have been 30 years ago....... |

Not ...getting older. Getting BETTER ;) |

All Mavericks fans (the car, not the basketball team) please forgive me.
I just always thought it was the Mustangs ugly sister is all. Not that they aren't quick, or special to some people. But, to each his own (and my dad still loves them). |
I know the pic was kinda bad, but it's one hell of a car. I had the privilage to do a custom stereo in it. Spent 4 days working on the install...

This is very interesting.....more older owners OWN Mach1's & for some strange reasons alot of younger owners OWN Cobra's. http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...&highlight=age BTW im hitting 31 by June of next year. |

I'm 46 years "young"! (At least that's what I keep telling the wife.) I've had at least one Mustang at any given time since '73, including 3 Mach1's. On my 6th now, and have my two favorites in the garage anxiously waiting for the snow to melt. .......Oh yea, forgot to tell ya.....I'm a biker too, and 46 in biker years is like 93! hehe I been slowing down the last couple of years. :D
|
20 years old here but grew up under a lift, i was the son my dad never had. So it runs in the family and i wouldnt have it any other way!!
|
38 here (wife feels that maturity level is more like 18 - but I know she is slightly wrong ....... I really feel is more like a solid 19):D
|
Well guys, 61 years young here....bought my first Mustang in 1965, a silver coupe, 4-speed with HP289 engine. Being driving Mustangs a long time, the Mach 1 is the best I've had yet!
:) I'm probably in my 3rd childhood by now and loving every day of it. |
