The Birmingham people certainly handled the 45th in a really good way. The Carlisle people have it down to a science. Not to take anything away from the 50th group, but they should have reached out to the others to get a handle on how it should be done. Like the idea that we like to park together inside the track, but that never seemed to be on the table unless you did the MORE thing outside.

Now you have gone and done it. :headbang: You missed your chance to freeze me in good shape. :secret: Last night I was in Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma with olecranon bursitis. I'm on my way out I tell you. Later in the night after a days yard work I noticed a golf ball sized lump on my right elbow. Freaking out I told my wife we needed to go to First Care. She tried to tell me I was OK and don't worry about it. I said I think I'm dying we must go. Off we went just to get there 1 minute after they closed so off we went to the nearest hospital. After sitting there for an hour and fifteen minutes they took blood work and X-Rays. The Doc finally
came into our room and gave us the bad news. I now have to make an appointment with a Dr. Thompson for re-evaluation.

My point being, don't make fun of old people that have one foot on a banana
peel and the other in the grave.

Went ahead and pre-ordered the yearbook for Charlotte. Should be a nice keepsake from the show.

Did you get in on the 700 max. cruise?? Registration is closed for both Las Vegas with 1,687 entries and Charlotte with 3,565.

Passed on the cruise, but I'm doing the Sat. night banquet.

I sort of regret not signing up for the cruise as the cruise at the 45th was amazing. The route was well planned out, there were many locations where it was confirmed the convoy would not be broken up (like on-ramps being blocked by authorities so we could remain a continuous line - & this was during even commute home)
I really enjoyed the cruise @ the 45th and the city, venues, people & bands where we ended up was top notch.
Even saw Russ there!

Signed up for the Friday night cruise to Kannapolis, doing the Wednesday night b'day party, skipping the banquet on Saturday though.

We went ahead and joined the M.O.R.E Parking with the Georgia Regional Mustang Club, since we are members. I was hoping we would have it for the Mach1 Registry. I think it's to late now.

I'm just hoping to get there with the car at this point. The rear end went south this past weekend, and it's going to be a least a week before the only shop I trust on this gets to look at it.

They didnt say there was a limit or a time limit to sign up. Actually, it says,....

"We will be accepting registrations up to the last minute including the day of while the Mustangs are lining up at the staging area."

They posted this:
As we are limited to how many vehicles can properly park in Kannapolis, we had to cut registration off at a certain number. I can restfully assure you that we have surpassed that number and registration is OFFICIALLY CLOSED for the Friday night cruise in!

There will be NO additional registrations accepted at the staging area, or anywhere else! Our main concern is to have the Mustangs staged properly, get them counted and then exit the staging area safely.

Not doubting that what you posted isnt posted somewhere but its not on the sign up site.

I actually sent them an email and they said the police had limited them. Thought it was partly about breaking a world record. Kinda defeats the purpose of a record if they are going to limit your attempt.:confused:

I hope I dont regret signing up for this event and spending $150. But its starting to seem like it was a mistake for me. Just doesnt seemed organized very well and if it is, the info isnt being communicated. Very disappointed in not being able to get into the cruise, that was one of the main things I was looking forward to.

In all honesty, if I could get my money back, I would go down on Friday or Saturday and not enter my car. Shouldve saved my money for Carlisle instead. :??::(
