Gotta go...off to very cold Silver Springs. Check in tonite.

I'm from up north but I have been to Silver Springs, cold there must mean it's in the 70's. Woke up to an average day of 28 degrees this morning. And thats not really cold for this time of year.
So I guess you won't be swimming.

I think Ford goofed and put production numbers in some 2003 paper work and advertisements. If they built more cars then they said they would, they could have a legal problem.
It may be the reason they won't release the real numbers.

That was my thought, to go from 6,500 to 9,600 is a big difference. Who cares at this point, give up some numbers FORD.

Okay, all I really want to know are the actual production numbers for our Machs. There is too many replies with "we say this" and "their site says this" and "Ford says this" etc. I just want the actual numbers, which includes all production Machs, sold to public and not sold to the public. Mine is UA so I want specifics on it too please. Thanks all.

Re: Production Numbers !!! :)

The 04 Mach1 Producrtion Numbers are Provided back in post number 1.

IUP is the issue. Option code 18G, is/was not a sort feature available in their raw data.

for the 03 Mach1 Numbers, those are being put together similar to those reported for the 04's.

The IUP hunt is a manual search being performed using our R-code VIN's to pull up the individual build sheet data files for each specific one.

The hunt is on.

Much like the age old question
"How many licks does it take to get to the center of a totsie pop"
The world may never know.

If you think about it those numbers are still pretty low considering that the United States is much more populated now. The only way to get a car now a days that is a 1 of 100 or less is to pay 6 figures. So yeah for what the car is to the average American it is still a low production factory hot rod.

Not sure how many ppl here in Idaho have a mach, but I know I have not seen any around since I saw that Azure Blue mach in Nampa. The guy traded it in at a local ford dealer, I noticed online.

Re: Production Numbers !!! :)

so between 03-04 there are approximatly 16,783 machs! Thats pretty rare to me. But does anyone have a estimate between totalled ones and since the years they have been out, how many does anyone think that are left in running condition? I am curious about this, does anyone have a educated guess?
