couple things they for sure dont have in common:

10x pro bowl
3x MVP
Most career passing touchdowns: 472
Most career passing yards: 65,392
Most career pass completions: 5,805
Most career games with at least three touchdowns: 66

Big Ben has beat Favre also Ben has won 2 SB in 2 out 3 years, Favre hasn't won SB since 1997.:23: :smack:

Montana could come out of retirement and still put both of them to shame. /discussion.

And another thing about Patrick Willis... look who his coach is. It can't get any better for him. He's a shoe in for hall of fame.

Lawrence Taylor

Thats a great list and i'm sure none of them killed anyone.
Ray Lewis should be behind bars, not playing football.
Hard to get to the hall of fame from there.

Agreed. It's a little sickening the way the media (how many times have I typed sentences that start with those same eight words?) has helped rebuild his image into that of a role model.

Yeah Favre is a stat maker not a superbowl taker. :butt: :butt:

Roethlisberger received much praise from coaches in the NFL including Dallas Cowboys former coach Bill Parcells who compared him to NFL legend Dan Marino. On January 5, 2005 Roethlisberger was unanimously selected as The NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press, the second quarterback to be so honored.

Roethlisberger's rookie season, he set many rookie passing records, including best passer rating (98.1), and highest completion percentage (66.4%). :claus: :claus:

There is a slight age diff....games played. Playing in that Div. will give you those kind of stats. Playing the Lions, Bears, and Vikings twice a year is a QB'S dream.
Both QB'S are good but a GREAT QB calls his own plays.

i understand the age and games played diff.

But 10 probowls to 1????

3 MVP's (back to back to back) to ZERO?

i give the steeler's defense a lot of credit....that wins them a lot of games...but to argue ben is in the top 20 qb's of all time is stupid

he is not even close to elite

Note.....I said both QB'S were good. Do I think Farve is better that Ben, Yes.
A winning QB is hard to find, they all do it diff. and # mean nothing.
Like that old cote out west says.....Just win Baby.

heres some other "amazing" QB's that have SB wins:

Rypien
Trent Dilfer
Brad Johnson

since a QB is the only man on the team and a SB win means he wont the whole game himself, theres 3 more "awesome" QB's to add to the all-time greatest QB list

lolz

even sucky qb's win....ben is a prime example

The REAL NFL team doesn't play until Monday night. There was an article today stating that the Saints are on track to become the highest scoring team, for a songle season, in NFL history if they continue at their current pace. Stunning, just stunning...
