Harrison sacking Favre and slamming him into the ground in the last 2 sec was priceless. It was his way of saying "This is our house boy. Welcome to the Burgh". :butt: :butt: :butt:

Culpepper puts Romo to shame in the scrambling category.

A real football fan is someone who can publically admit they are a lifetime Browns fan. :23:

But I have to admit, it's getting harder to do.

That truly is loyalty.

At least I had some very good years of being a Raiders fan, but the recent years are making up for it. What a dreadful team... with high draft choices who can't throw or catch.

Yes, when he sprinted down the field to check on his receiver who just got leveled, I was crying uncontrollably :23: . Geez, Favre could'nt do what a supposedly crappy Bengals team did in the last minute of a game. :23:. Yep, he showed me alot.

My niners decided to show up in the second half but it wasn't enough. Now they play Indy. Not looking so good right now, but the schedule gets a lot easier after next week.

Couple things Favre and Big Ben dont have in common, 2 superbowl rings and being driven in the ground by the best linebacker in the league. :butt: :butt: :butt:

Exactly. If he had it wouldnt have hurt so much.

Re: NFL Football Thread

I'm just letting you know that Patrick Willis is the best line backer in the NFL. If you think otherwise, I suggest you do some research. Ask Brad Smith.

Re: NFL Football Thread

Patrick Willis has already been compared to Ray Lewis and been deemed better. The best part is he still has MANY years left to play.

Favre showed Ben....

How to fumble and give up 6 to the opposing team :23:

Favre QB rating on Sun - 76.8% http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/1025

Ben QB rating on Sun - 87.8% http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6770

Yeah ... he really showed 'em

Linebackers??? - Harrison was NFL Defensive Player of the Year
Patrick Willis? -- we shall see
Ray Lewis - May be the best of all time
Jack Lambert - One of the best, if not the best
LT, in his prime, re-invented the position
