Actually, through the 428 Cobra Jet registry we sent in e-mails do a "428 Cobra Jet" reunion (feature cars) for 2008 (40th anniversary) and 2009 for the Mach 1 reunion (40th year also). I guess the Carlisle folks are looking for themes each year and jumped on the Mach 1 theme for 2007.

Where they had us was not even a part of the fairgrounds a few years ago. It was a store that sold farm equipment. It really wasn't that bad for me ... I kept going up and down vendor row located behind us and loaded up with a bunch of goodies. :D

This was the 40th anniversary for the Mercury Cougars and they had a pretty good setup. Maybe for the Mach 1's true 40th (1969-2009) we can get something similar, or at least inside the fence. :)

Yeap, that's it Dave. They have different exhibits each year which makes it interesting. Couple of years ago it was Mustangs, last year Muscle cars, and this year they had true antique cars. It's also just around the corner from CJ Ponyparts so I always go by there too.

I mentioned maybe members pulling some money together to get a commerative block out front to honor the Mach1Registry. Would there be any chance of taking an extra day and going there as a Mach1 group. Park out front.... They would prolly work with us, as a group. I would show up on Wednesday for it before Carlisle.

Mom going home on tuseday, she doing well she is resting alot now sheeping all day doctor told take easy for awhile until she gets stronger and don't do any yard work for two months. don't worried Mark I'll be there next year with Mach1

Yes, let's plan on it for next year Wed before the show.....we can hit the CJ & Museum Or maybe have a catered dinner at the museum? :) Looks like you can setup a group thing. Maybe they can work with us.
