cobra style with mach 1 imprint

unfortunately ford doesn't sell Cobra bumpers with MACH 1 imprint or will never. but it's still a cobra engine, just like the 2001
s but no supercharger...

If Ford does not put any restrictions on the style of the bumper, I'll include the Cobra style in the bid request. Keep in mind that since it is a different style means additional costs in development which will drive up the price per unit. How much, I don't know.

Ultimately this will come down to economics, so far I have an order count of 46 bumpers. If we split that between the 3 styles requested, it may push the cost over $300 for each style.

Oh yeah cobra ...that black plastic at the bottom looks real good with all colors being that all machs trim color is black...I would pay 500.00 to get the cobra style with mach in it..

Just as info. Ford killed this project by not authorizing us to use the Mach 1 on the aftermarket bumpers.

If you want the Cobra look you could just have the lettering filled in before painting. I'm sure if you have enough $ someone will modify a bumper to say Mach 1 instead of Mustang or Cobra.

Has anyone tried a "no script" aftermarket rear bumper cover, then put lettering on such as "MACh 1"?? Pics???

I wish someone would step up and make the 03-04 style bumper with no letters. That way 99-up Mustang owners are happy and Ford is happy.

I guess a vote in the poll resurrected this very very old thread. Figured I'd answer a few of the questions I've seen.

Yes, the 03 Cobra rear bumper fits the Mach 1, GT, and V6 with no exhaust modifications (see pic below)

You have to get it custom done for this. There has been talk that one of the aftermarket companies was going to produce the smoothed Cobra rear bumper, but no one has. So, if anyone wants the look.... you'll need to go talk to your favorite body shop.

i would love the stock style bumper to have MACH 1 on it in bold font, cant believe ford killed it, i have some friends in a body shop and if i can talk them into making a mold and printing mach 1 on it you all will be the first to know. i will also see about getting a cobra bumper for the mach 1 and also just smooth since some people like that style. i will see what i can do and will get back to yall as soon as i can (hopefully with some prices and availability)
