Same here, Nick. Glad y'all made it back okay and everybody else too. :)

We're spending one more night here in the Homewood and will leave for home in the morning. As usual it was a blast. A special thanks to all those that helped and prepped the food plus especially "HAEG's" wife. I don't know where she found those "bottomless" bottles of beer Friday night, but everytime I turned around I had a full one.

Let's hope we get back to the infield next year, I didn't really feel that "special" out in the boonies by gate 1 this year. :OUCH:

Carlisle was alot of fun as always. And staying at the Homewood gets better each year it seems.

I want to thank JDraper & Oldschool for cooking at the Mach1 BBQ Friday night. Food was great thanks everyone. Mikestang thanks for the Mac Salads & chocolate cake, 03mach69mach for the hamburger rolls, red mach '03 for the hotdog rolls, Bill Hamilton for the sauce, Mach1 EH - soda & beers, II Cool - chips & real beer eh!, tg69church Greek Orzo Salad & thanks for bringing the coolers :), DarkShadow Mayo, ketchup & mustard. And to everyone else who brought snacks, cookies, drinks, sorry if I missed anyone else.

Nice to see so many people, I think there were over 50.

Thanks again, SCOTT

Thanks to Tom'smach1 for setting up the Saturday night dinner, the food was good and the people were just great.

Thanks, Dave and congrats on your win (again). You're the only Mach 1 guy I know who still has the original factory "air" in the tires (LOL).

It seemed like a pretty big crowd was hanging around Sunday at 3:00 PM for the give-away-car drawing and the first ticket drawn was the winner. The winner was a "young girl" about our age (mid-50's) who was at the show with her 1955 T-Bird. It took her about two seconds to decide she wanted the $5,000 instead and the Carlise folks then made an anouncement about if anybody wanted the 1971 Cougar to make them an offer.

Bill,

I am glad a "young" girl like us won the $5,000, Sarai kept saying all weekend that she did not believe anyone would take the car. And the only reason I got second was where I was parked. (Sarai keeps reminding me of that.) Most of the winners came from where we were parked, with the heat I don't think alot of people walked to where the reunion was during judging.

Dave
