I always enjoy how mature people are when they state their dislike for people and/or teams. Unable to discuss, but more than able to post like a 10 yr old who just learned a new cuss word.

But, yeah... I was a little upset last night. It basically came down to whoever had the ball last would win. Should not have come down to that, as The Boys did outplay the Giants. Unfortunately, the Boys outplayed themselves too.

Re: NFL Football Thread

Man! 3 picks? The defense looks ok, but that secondary really needs to be there. Or is the scheme they use defensivly dependant on reaching the QB? I don't know but both the Cowboys and the Titans rushed for a gazillion yard, and lost. But on a good note the Titans played 2 of there toughest rivals. And the boys and Giants are always a question mark. But Romo is scaring me, he can't play in the playoffs, and now he can't play atthe stadium debut with Jones watching AND the Presisdent.

romo just gets excited in big games and gets unsettled...id do the same so i try not to be too hard on him, but gee...last night we couldnt catch a break...ball flying of whittens foot, the giants bounce the ball in the end zone and it lands on top of their guy, some BS holding call on the cowboys that kept the giants drive alive....bunch of junk

Bunch of junk.........how bout that busch league time out call as the ball gets snapped on the first field goal attempt? That's a bunch of junk. But the Giants got the last laugh anyway as Tynes split the posts on his second attempt. I hope Jerry Jones enjoyed watching that on his 6000 foot big screen tv. :23:

i am always for spelling people's names correctly though...it is a general sign you might know what you are talking about

then again, I'm a Cowboys fan, so who knows.

By the way, the ball that bounced off Witten's foot was a poorly thrown ball, thrown low and behind the receiver, THAT is why it got picked off.

When you remember things people posted on the internet last year it is a sure fire sign that you need to get a life. :claus:

I'd have to argue about that. The ball was a shite throw, but that bounce was a fluke.

The bounce was a fluke, but it never happens if the ball is thrown well.

Cant argue with that. Romo was Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde last night.

Not EVERY stat.....

Manning- 25/38(65.8%) - 330yds - 2 TD - 0 INTs

Rhomo- 13/29(44.8%) - 127yds - 1 TD - 3 INTs

Cowgirls will never win a playoff game with Rhomo playing like this in week 2. :smack:

I HATE that last millisecond timeout shiet. Drives me up a wall, you know you can't win so you resort to BS tactics like that.

I can understand why the Cowpies lost. Rhomo got nervous about the opening of Jerry World. Maybe they should start him for full games in the pre-season. Then he won't be so skeered. :23:

They never have.

In fact it has been 13 years since they won a playoff game with ANYONE at QB.

Yeah, I've been waiting since 1985. I will say I was feeling in in 2006 after Devin Hester ran back the opening kickoff though.

I won $100 in that Superbowl. I took the Colts. :23:
Yesterday's loss is disappointing, but Pitt is notorious for losing easy, non-essential regular season games. :23:
