Well its official , im out . I will not make Carlisle . Sux but it is what it is .

Car just isnt perfect yet ! Sorry guys it wasnt me or my decision for sure .

I was considering a day trip on Saturday but no go for me with the rain forcast. Guess I will stay home and start redressing the Mach for drag racing at the end of the month.

Well earlier today I was "bragging" to somebody about I've seen every kind of weather at Carlisle over the years but snow........well it may not quiet be "snow" but it did start to hail during out BBQ outing. From here on out, I ain't saying nothin'.

This sucks....I cant find anywhere to stay!!! Does anyone know of any hotels with available rooms??

I drove up there today from So MD....3 hours up...hot as ba**s. Met Dave...quite a few Machs outside gate 1...didn't see many on the field...or maybe I didn't look hard enough.....just too dang hot. Drank like 3 gatorades and waters and never went to the john. Last time I went to Carlisle for all fords it was practically snowing....can we get a happy medium here?!?!?! Was nice to see the Mach's and mods people have done. It took me over 4 hours to get home....if I had taken my Mach would probably have fried the clutch on the 495 beltway. If you go, wear your sunscreen!!!

im at a red roof inn in s. harrisburg. it was the closest i could find (about 20 miles from carlisle). they still have rooms here....good luck

Oooo, almost forgot...go into the brick building right by all the Machs at gate 1...there is a 1970 ( i think) blue Mach 1 with a COMPLETE 03-04 Mach 1 interior with our 4.6 mod motor.....gotta appreciate the guts, time and skill it took to pull THAT off!

That car (a 1969 with 2004 interior and running gear) is pretty awesome.

I'm waiting for the comments on the 2002 Mach 1 convertible in that building! Makes one wonder how they choose the invitational cars....

It has the Mach 1000 stereo, so I suppose someone thought that qualifies it for a Mach 1.

Try closer to Harrisburg. There's enough Hotels that one of them has to have a room. You'd be about half an hour to 40 minutes from the Fairgounds. It's just straight up I81.
