Hey Bud, it ain't like you weren't invited ..... on several different occasions (or at least everytime I thought about it);) .

As Jeff pointed out, it sounds like it will be a normal year ..... and he will be prepared as you can see from here:

So I guess since I have 30 days of leave I might as well do something. Trying to read through these posts is going to take me forever. I may just make a day trip, I'm not that far out. Does anyone want to PM the big details and save me the trouble of going through 700+ posts

Help, I have a sickness. I just spent the last hour taking a toothbrush to the trunk & door hinges along with the door sills.

Ours got caught in the rain today (sitting in the driveway while I built a bumper in the garage...) so I'll be washing both Mustangs on Tuesday or Wednesday...

Sitting in the rain is not has bad as driving it at least all the mud and **** dont get up in the wheel wells and the rims sometimes stay clean

I watched in horror as the storms approached. All that work right down the drain. J/K I knew it was going to rain so I only did the inside, trunk, and started the engine bay.

You guys just keep cleaning . My car gets dropped off Wed. morning at the detailer . Wash , wax , motor compartment , shampoo carpet , remove wheels and clean rotors , interior , but most important goes up on the lift to wipe down the undercarriage .

Should be clean enough i think .:smokin:

That's what was supposed to happen to mine. But the detailer decided at the last minute he didn't have time before he went on vacation and it was too late to get anyone else to do it.

Saturday is the big event I think judging starts at like 10 or 11 am so make sure u are there before that to get the car clean. Also everyone is in the show votes. but other than that not much to say. other than if u wait till saturday to register it will take a while so get there early. I will be going down friday to register and to meet up with the guys for the party at the hotel.

Detailers HA !

when you see my car let it be known that I do my own detailing polishing and cleaning -

-today I want to touch up the paint on the hats
- go over every sqare inch of the paint
- vacume the inside carpets dont need shampoo
- get the skinny kid next door to hop in the back of the car and do the back window

Bah..I'm not gonna detail the undercarriage..Gotta drive it there plus the voting is all done by participant, not a panel and no one will most likely be crawling under the car anyways.....

Thats why i set mirrors on the undercarriage , and put the rear on ramps . Everyone sees , everything .
Gotta show her off , she deserves it . Just to sweet not too !

But if its raining you wont see anything , car and myself will be sitting in a local establishment with car on trailer and cover on .

Wish i had the time to detail , its cheaper to hire someone professsionally then to do it myself .

Not that I know I can trust. It's no big deal. It saved me over $100. The undercarriage is pretty clean. I wanted the calipers and inside of the rims cleaned more than anything.
