Very nice!! From several pics I have seen of this tank installed, there won't be any problems with ground clearance. Even if front wheels are coming off the ground.

I wasn't really talking about how LOW the tank hung, as I was talking about the overhang.
I still haven't made my mind up if I'm gonna put a damm fuel cell in the trunk or not.:frown:
Fire from breaking off fuel lines scares the hell outta me!

Does this angle for a picture help any...?

There's very good chance that Louise could stand it on the bumper.;)

Hahaha that is a good problem to have I guess. I am keeping my IRS so I am not worried about bumper draggin. If I get the tail pipe to scrape I would be happy(doubtful) and I might clear the fitting coming off the sump. Us Cobras have the squatter rear end.

Here is the Melling Billet Steel oil pump gears and housing that will be going in soon. Liberty's Gears is finally finished with my 26 splineTKO 500 and will be shipping to CRT Performance.

Phil, the build-up looks amazing, your running a 175 shot on a stock bottom end though? I was always told that they couldnt handle more than 125 stock, just wondering cause i was thinking about spraying mine, thanks

Thanks! I'm pushing the limits of the factory rods/pistons. The top land ring on the pistons are very thin for boost or nitrous, especially nitrous. One of the rods could go anytime. Next year it will be forged, I hope.

125 is safe for max shot on a modular motor running pump gas & tune. Proper plugs gapped to the shot. More times then not, reason nitrous hurts a motor is due to driver error.

Ah ok, what plugs/gap would you suggest for a 100 hit?

Just got the Wilson tapered 1.5" four hole spacer. This will help increase air flow velocity. Will help to not disrupt the air flow when the nitrous plate starts spraying. Will better atomize the fuel/nitrous then without the tapered spacer.

I do plan on trying some dynos with spacer & without. Both N/A & Nitrous. I'mplanning on having my Mach trailered to CRT Performance end of this month. I just ordered Crower cams and spring/retainer kit. I'm trying to finish all the fuel/nitrous plumbing before Jeff gets it. My trans was finally delivered to CRT Performance last week from Liberty's Gears. I have the Quick Time steel bell housing which weighs 22 lbs & SFI 6.1.

Nice card is the CFM 900+? That should really boost your performance. With FI I miss the carb performance days it nice to see them in use.

That's my setup!! Been running it since beginning of April and loving it. I left my factory ECU in. But my ignition is ran by an MSD Mod 6 PN6011. I'm still pretty stock yet but it looks mean as hell. The carb setup is something that is not done very often on these cars, but looks great. I love old school look. I have the zex perimeter plate as well, just haven't put it on. I wanted to get it all tuned and feeling right before I threw 100 shot on. Here's the link:

Re: Custom Intake Carbureted & Nitrous Setup

Sorry about that, I didn't even realize he posted it. It runs pretty good. Could run stronger with a different set of cams though. It feels like it has more top end power even though i know i lost some low end torque. I'm putting it on the dyno Saturday to see what the results are. I've been talking to Sullivan and MSD quite a bit about the setup and what I should expect. Here is what they had to say. "Let us know how that comes out" Really helpful. They say they designed everything to work on a Hot Rod or a car that was pretty much gutted for race only and having the factory ECU still in was never part of the design.

Sullivan recommended going with the Mod Max cams 109 degree slope. They say it works great with the power band of the intake since it's designed to start at 2500 rpm.

These L&M adjustable cam gears will be going in with the Crower cams. They are expensive, but to many broken gear reports with other manufacturers adjustable cam gears to take a chance.

I've been looking at those gears for a while Phil for when I finally get around to installing my FR500 Cams/Al Papitto heads.

L&M is only about 15 minutes form my house & I plan to stop by their shop to check-out/purchase the gears in person.

I have been running them for about a year now. You will love them. Very nice peices.

Makes degreeing the cams very easy!
