I love hearing this, everyone thinks only imports can obtain this. Congrats!

I abuse it all the time ::grins:: camaros like my taillights...

Problems
Thermostat housing replaced at around 60k miles due to crack
Brakes- front twice, rear once, 1 bad rear brake caliper
Clutch replaced at around 150k miles with spec stage 2+ due to bad to bearing (used spec bearing and its grinding now so ordered a hays performance bearing- this may have been due to install as the to bearing is now riding on presurre plate)
Abs light started on/off around 95k then completely on full time around 130k - never really care because who needs abs?
Front end way out of alignment and couldn't be adjusted enough so installed cc plates (aligned twice now)
27 sets of tires (at least it feels like it, go through 2-3 sets a year now)

Not tons of track passes, but did run it a year with 100 shot on street. Plenty of road fun and best time at track was 13.67@105 with bad 2.6 ft 60 (tires sucked and just spun). Need time to go back now...

Anyone ever feel like donating parts, let me know... plan on hitting 300,000 in about 1.8 years (drive about 65k/yr)

I used to have an escort for my dd, but thought why have a car to just sit while I could be enjoying it ask started driving the Mach daily. Then while waiting on tires to come in I wrecked the escort with just liability!

Anyway, summer/winter this thing has always gotten me from point a to point b!!!

Oh, started driving daily in early 2009 with 67k on it

Bought july 08 with 62k on it

Anyone think I can get ford to let me do some extended endurance testing on a new BOSS ? Lol. Just think, drive constantly under all conditions :p. And I wouldn't even charge em

Nice! Mine is driven daily, but I only put about 1k/mo on mine. (I'm at 43k miles! No where near you!)

Pix of outside and engine! The front bumper at top has been cracked about 2 yrs now due to hitting a deer. When I hit it, thought the whole front end of car was smashed due to the sound. The black plastic grill delete was broken along with upper part of bumper!

Just turned 108,000 in mine. Only problems I have had; replaced transmission @ 35k (under warranty), replace IAC, replace throttle position sensor, and replace the front wheel bearings. None of them major issues and nothing that I have not replaced or seen others have to replace on mustangs. Over all I have been extremely happy with this car. It has been solid DD transportation since the spring of 2004.

I have 74,000 on mine and I have received two first places in the last two car shows I entered. I'm gald to hear they hold up because mine runs great and is a DD. I plan to keep it unless I can find a good deal on one with less miles!!

Mine's at 79K. It's an auto tranny car. Trans started slipping a few thousand miles ago at the top of 2nd. It also shifts all over the place at wot from 1st to 2nd. Engine, rear, and most everything is great. Time to sell her or upgrade the tranny!

Bought to turn over and hit 90k. Might hit a 100k by the end of the year we'll see how much I drive. Gas prices have discouraged me from driving as much as I used to. And everything seems to be getting more expensive!

Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine has a project Mach that blew the motor about 90K. I think they put an Aluminator in it.

Just topped 70k..Auto trans..needs to be replaced it slips like crazy, but with overdrive off its fine.

My blue one with 86,500 slips a little. Is trany replacement our only option? Otherwise this one runs great, only brakes, battery, and fuild replacement for her. It feels much stonger then her little sister.
The DSG has 74,800 had the tick @ 11,000 head replaced but now she seems to be burning a little bit more oil than normal. Might be related. No additional problems with her other than the normal. Both daily driven, except on the weekends.

I put 2 bottles of stop slip fluid in the tranny with a complete service and it helped some. It's cheap compared to a rebuild, I'd do it.
