That's pretty good. I'll run it past the boss.

I should have also said we need to work on tent decorations and theme..

I was going to pick on the automatic trans but I'm too tired to. Murphy is kicking my butt this week.

I made a similar comment to Dave Wagner years ago.. Takes people off guard especially since its the other way around typically. Just me being me...

I had a cousin learned to drive on a stick shift and actually stated to me at one point "that car is an automatic, I don't know how to drive one". She since has learned..

New costume.....:horse:

For the tent decorations, we might want to center it around the 50th anniversary theme.

Two part idea. For suit and tent. In lieu of sponsor names on the suit, use movie titles that featured Mustangs. For the tent expand it to include pictures from the movies as well as the title. Maybe include some Movie posters.

I refuse to reference Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift as one of them though.

Don't let Jeff kid you Scott. That is the official attire of GT350 owners. I hear they are quite the whiners.

Possible Club tent themes. The Stang goes to Hollywood, Not even Hollywood can corral The Stang, or The Stang Stampedes Hollywood, etc, etc.

Bill H. can be our Special Celebrity Guest. He is listed on IMDB.com

Have you guys tried to see if there were any folks who were bringing Mach 1s from the "forgotten years" of '74-'78?

I haven't seen one in years. Most I see (of the few) are the "Cobra II's" and an occasional plain jane model.

June 1, 2019, Typically we have enough leftovers from Friday night (5/31) to eat on Saturday (6/1) at the hotel as well. So we do BBQ #2 on Saturday evening.

Notes for 2019 & item we need written below!!
Thursday Group trip ?
Head to show field 9am Friday morning from hotel.
Head to show 7am Saturday morning from hotel.

We need to start working on the food donations. I haven't been posting much here not trying to show up as a daily pain in the rear in your email notifications... But we need to get things in order for our BBQ's and such. I'm making homemade potato salad this year, my mother has passed the secrets on to me I did a practice run last night came out good.. No deaths yet..

Also any idea of what to do on Thursday??

Any advise from the activities directors??
Bill Hamilton?

Re: 2019 All-Ford Nationals at Carlisle, PA.

Three possibilities are

1. National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg $13

2. Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania followed by a ride on the Strasburg Railroad $10 for museum and $17.50-21.00 for the train depending if you wanna ride in the open air car or the first class car.
The downside to this option (while I think it would be fun) is it is an hour from the hotel. If there is interest I could rent a 15 passenger van for the day. Company gets a really good discount on rentals. The train ride is through Amish Country so it is like going back in time.

3. Autobahn go carts in Lemoyne. They have electric carts that reach 50mph. This option can get pricey depending on how many laps you want to run.

I always kinda like a half day event on Thursday so we could go to the showfield in the afternoon to pick up our packets. Also, what is the featured exhibit at the Auto Museum this year?

Looks like it's going to the cars of Bill Hamilton, tours given by his wife. (Since she actually bought most of the cars.)

Thanks Brian for the ideas.. Anyone interested in any events please speak up.

*FIXED*
The train ride is through Amish Country so it is like going "PAST DRAPERS HOUSE"... back in time.

I also like to hit the show field on Thursday for picking up THE goody bags and actually see where we are parking.
