So, question. I am looking at getting 17 x 10.5 rims for rear and running a 315/35R 17 Nitto 555R. Will these fit under rear with no issues. Rear has stock springs, front has 1/2 coil cut and will keep my 275 upfront. Dont want to pull the trigger and then kave rubbing or have to roll fenders, thanks guys

I cut 1-1/4 coil off on my car with 315's. A lot bigger drop than what you are doing, but I had to roll my fenders because they were cutting in to the tire. If you have any issues with that at all let me know. I have an eastwood fender roller I'll let you borrow.

I haven't forgot. I think about it every time I see a show or event down your way. At some point life and weekends will slow down enough for me to make it down there.

I have been looking at the 17 x 10.5 Mach 1 wheels for a while and want to purchase a pair with the grey inserts. Does anyone know where I could find a new pair? I use to look on eBay, but haven't seen them listed in some time. I also know AFSwheels use to sell them back in the day, but I haven't found a place recently that would have them in stock.

Looks good JB! I've liked all the wheel setups you've ran. Hopefully you kept the magnums to switch back and forth between! TR gives so many wheel color/style options that look awesome.:orange:

Re: The Wheel Pictures Thread

Thanks for the comment. I guess with all the choices i cannot help myself.

decided this time to go back to 18x9's because of all the problems i was having cutting into the 285's on the 10's in the rear. Decided i did not want to modify the quarter lip on a car that had only 2513 in my color in 2003. It was much easier just to swap to a 18x9...(gutless i know...but...)

Actually, sold the magnums @ 3 years ago...we were in the process of designing a new one at the time (bad move on my part) but unfortunately that kinda fizzled out.

Try to do something new every time its time for a new set of tires...

I had a pair of satin black wheels on there previously. Went back to the black chrome, nothing beats it.

Killer shot! (nice lense you're using, I need a real camera). Love the terminator side scoop inserts. I was hoping I was the only one with a Mach who had done that. Looks like I'm in good company atleast.

Your fuel door looks awesome on there too. I just had an 01 Bullitt fuel door paint matched a couple weeks ago and I installed it last week with new stainless hardware. I'm still not sure if I'll keep it on there or not. But it did turn out nicely.

Thanks! I’d like to say I’m responsible for the Cobra side scoops and Mach fuel door, but both were from the previous owner lol. The do look better than the Mach scoop inserts. The Ox white and azure blue Mach’s are my favorite colors. They look so good with Mach trim.

Aww I guess so...lol

I used a tiny flathead screwdriver with the end wrapped by a microfiber towel. Start at the bottom of the insert and pry outwards. (You could cover the bottom corner of the scoop with painters tape too if you're worried). Once youve got the first tab free, you can put the screwdriver down and use just your fingers for the remaining tabs. Only 3 or 4 total, cant quite remember. The new inserts will just press in. No need to remove the scoop.
