Over 8 years ago I was 61 when I got the mach 1 and still going to Cecil CO Drag Way on Friday nights. Don't have any plans of ever selling it.

I will be 70 this Dec. 10th. and this is my 2nd Mach1 my 1st was a 69 428 Mach1 Ram Air automatic turned in 12:00 et consistently at 121 mph in the 1/4. It had full headers w. cut outs and 456 rear, Trans was never touched. Oh!! Lakewood traction bars and 10inch racemasters.

I was 21 when I picked up my mach. My first mustang was a very slow 1996 Mustang GT when i was 17, but I enjoyed the hell out of that mustang. You never forget about that first Mustang!!

Honestly I figured all the old timers, (40+ please no offense intended only say it cause I call my dad old and he's well into his 40s lol) had them. Mainly because of the name. I mean not many guys my age even know what they are. A guy at O'Reilly's kept calling it a "match" 1 -.-

Well I just turned 70 and have drag raced it almost from day 1 (2004), I still do, just for fun, I also had a 1969 428 ram air Mach 1 new. But yea most people ask if it's a GT!!!! or they say I have a GT just like that.

Lol see that's what I mean. Anyone who knows their cars knows the Mach 1 is an iconic name. Lol well that's awesome to hear. My uncle had one too, he's had plenty of cars in his time. His last car he just got rid of was a 1970 Roadrunner with a 440.

This poll is alittle out of date, I was about 38 when the thread started and 48 now. On my 3rd 03 Mach and two fox bodies.
