I love that stance and everything. I am planning on the black FR500's 18x9 and 18x10s. I had them on my 06 GT, and loved them. Any problems with rubbing on the rear?

Nope, I have not rolled the fenders either. Its a daily driver so I have hit a few bumps and it hasn't rubbed yet. The springs are H&R SS with no isos.

Why yes, yes they are. I have never heard of the TQ's until the guy selling them to me told me they were DR's. I love them so far. Had experience with them?

I have a 10" saleens in the rear with 315s. Fits perfectly. I think saleens only come in 10"s at the widest.

Thanks man. I have been debating going a different route with the wheels but I just dont know. I like FR 500's but I see them on mustangs all the time (same with the current setup). I have thought about going back to mach wheels with DD in the rear.

You could always paint the center part black leaving the lips sliver. That might take it to the next level.

All the best,

Triple

I may of answered my own question, Summit Racing has them for $3,000 per set, does not include tires or shipping.

A bit rich for my blood.

Does anyone know if there are others like these out there at a more reasonable price point.

Thanks again,

Michael

I didn't see them listed at CJ's, but I did find them a bit cheaper at wheelreplicas.com. They even have staggered sets in 18 x 9 and 18 x 10.

Thanks!

I think it looks pretty sick, needs some sort of rear spoiler though. The chrome lug nuts make those wheels pop!

Can we get the details on the wheels, size, kind, tires etc.

Very nice,

Michael

Blackandblue 02-27-2012 07:20 PM

Re: The Wheel Pictures Thread

yea i had chrome lug nuts but i bought black ones i just like the blacked out look kinda like a euro mach 1 something different. i like it better without the wing if i had the cabbage i would get a 03 cobra spoiler but that aint happening too many other things i want got mod fever. I wanted something that everyone doesnt have. The wheels are 18x8 tenzo type m I had to get rear spacers 1.5" for the rear it looked like a low rider. I have staggered fr 500's 17x9f 17x10.5r blacked out with nitto drag 315's on back and 275's on front but didnt want to keep buying tires at different intervals and now i will be able to rotate the tires. So i went with 265/35/18's cut a lil more than 1/2 a coil on my steeda springs and dropped my hpm megabytes to the bottom hole and i think it looks perfect and it handles great.

I don't think those wheels exist yet...they are for the 2013 GT500.

Anyways, they will be 19/20 staggered like the current GT500 SVT PP package wheels I'm sure. 19/20 looks silly on our cars - I tried out the 2011/12's on my car and they just looked wrong.
