I know it is way rich but with putting down what it did than I don't want to go much more on it. And no I could get around 480 if I lean on it a little.

Do you know how dangerously rich that is? And sorry but you won't get 480 by leaning it out. Not with your mods.;)

I agree.......9.x:1 is dangerously rich.......worse than too lean, by some standards.

UPDATE:

27 Oct got her re-tuned since adding a twin 60mm TB and Long Tubes and some other bits and pieces.

Numbers were on a Mustang Dyno and temp was 90 degree's in the Dyno room.

RWHP 458
RWTQ 412

A/F 11.2 down low, and leaning out to 11.7 up top. Timing was 18 deg.

No reputable tuner would tune a car that rich PERIOD. Besides that you must be confused on what keeps the power down because all you'd need to do is keep the timing low to keep the power down, has nothing to do with the A/F for the most part, aside from the fact you're is so rich it's probably gonna have a miss.

Re: Official Procharger HP/TQ/mods thread:

Why am I not surprised to see this not a stickie???

Unit: P1SC w/ 3.9" Pulley

Stock Bottom end: YES

SVT Focus pump, 42# inj., MAF.ia, SCT tune from amazon tuning.

Other mods.....PHP SPacer and SLP LM1s

Dyno: Mustang Dyno

RWHP/RWTQ - UNKNOWN.

(estimated at 440 RWHP, and 420 RWTQ).

A/F was 11.7-12.1 across the board.

NOTE: peak numbers are unknown because the dyno topped out at 120 mph......My car hit 120 in fourth at 5600 rpms, and was at 375 RWHP. also, the dyno didn't read the TQ, correct, because the operator typed in some bad info..it showed 550+ RWTQ...but in actuality, it estimates to 420 RWTQ.

The shop owner is going to have a dyno pack dyno in about 1 month. He is going to dyno it for peak numbers at no charge for me when it comes it.

BTW - the power curve showed NO signs of dropping off at 5600...she was climbing and climbing. Good thing I won't go crazy with this car.

What's up with the dyno? It won't turn at more than 120mph???? That's strange????

Mine with the 4.0 pulley peaked at 6350, so you have a lot left in her!

Thanks. That is exactly what we thought.....5600 rpm, and at 375..another ~700 rpms should be good for 50hp.....we will know for sure in January.

If you have a built motor then get that P1SC off there and have it upgraded to a D1SC with a 3.20 pulley.:claus:

Still can't get a full pull, car goes lean up top not sure why yet.

Stock wiring from the engine compt fuse block to the FPDM won't support a whole lot of HP with dual Focus pumps due to the high current draw of those pumps.

When I had a D1SC with a 3.4" pulley and dual Focus pumps on my car, it hit 100% duty cycle @ 5400 RPM. I upgraded the wiring to the FPDM and it went down to about 80% duty cycle @ 5400 rpm, and hit didn't 100% until about 6800 or so.

My mileage has always stunk. It really hasn't changed from stock to my current set up...Procharger, 42 lb inj, cobra tank and pumps (no BAP).

Then again my driving style has to be taken into consideration. I love to cruise around town in 3rd gear at 3K+ RPM's or more. Sounds great and power is always there if needed. Same on the highway but in 4th gear and 4K RPM. So it's really hard for me to get an accurate measure of fuel efficiency. I will test it for sure on the way down to Carlisle. Overdrive and light throttle all the way, if I can hack it

Re: Official Procharger HP/TQ/mods thread:

Your mileage should not drop by much until you get your foot into the boost. Under normal operating conditions while driving around the boost is not present. It is when you put your foot into it and you boost your motor that your fuel economy suffers. If I were to guess, I would say that I might have lost 1-2 MPG tops. I am still getting 16-17 MPG city driving with my setup and the 4.10's.
